Come home from days spent hiking, tubing, or shopping to enjoy the outdoor deck that overlooks the water.

What's nearby:
This condo sits on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, just a few blocks from the center of Helen. Outdoor adventures are right outside your door, whether you choose to fish for trout in the river or take a walk through Unicoi Hill Park. Downtown Helen is also home to many Bavarian-style shops, restaurants, and an annual Oktoberfest celebration. You can play a round of miniature golf, float downstream with rentals from Helen Tubing & Water Park, or learn about the area's culture at the Helen Arts & Heritage Center.

Dirty unit
The location was fantastic and could walk just about everywhere but the unit was dirty. We found ants all over the kitchen. The stove was left with crumbs, dirty dishes in the cabinet, a disgusting toaster and the wall next to the bar had something all over it. The floor had hair and other debris on it and you can tell it has not been swept or mopped. The towels seemed to be clean and that's what I am hoping for. The shower curtain was all moldy at the bottom. The walls and the backsplash of the sink extremely dusty. The couch is a dark color but still looked like it needed to have a deep clean done on that was well. The bedroom was thankfully the cleaner of all the area and the linen appeared to be clean so again that's what I and hoping for. We took a weekend getaway and ended up having to clean the unit just to be able to halfway use it. Outside on the porch is where we spent most the time if we were in the unit to enjoy the river and nature. Disappointed in this rental overall. Our worst stay ever with a VRBO

Nice weekend getaway
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and weekend getaway. There were only 2 downfalls to the place. It smelled like smoke to begin with and the toilet rocks.
