Gayle and her family were absolute angelic guests. So often, after we meet our guests, we feel like we gain family members. Such was the case with Gayle and family. I hope we can connect in KC in the near future. Five Stars and a standing ovation for Gayle!

Todd, his wife, and two other couples were a delight. I really enjoyed reminiscing about different locations in their hometown and telling stories around the fire pit. For us, the the joy of bonding with our guests is very fulfilling, especially when the Lord keeps providing us with quality guests like Todd and his crew. We hope to see them in 2024. Standing ovation as well for the cleanliness in which they the left Songbird Haus in. Very respectful. 👏👏👏👏

Jeff was a great guest. He was completely understanding of our inability to meet face to face as we had to fly to Holland to help with Heidi’s 87 year old father being released from the hospital from being hit by a car while riding his bike to the store. I just returned and they left the house immaculate. Five Stars for Jeff. We hope they’ll be back. Paul Clark

It was great meeting Robert and his family. I miss meeting people from Staten Island from when I used to buy guitars at Mandolin Brothers. I hope to see them again in Missouri or Staten Island

Michelle, her husband and friends were delightful….. practically like meeting long lost family! If we hosted couples like them every week this adventure would be top shelf all of the time. We would love to stay connected to them. Should they visit Hermann again we hope they’ll consider our Songbird Haus, as well as recommend it to their friends. 5 Stars for Michelle

Jill and her friends were a delight. And yes, we had a miracle.... one of her friends lost her diamond earring and we looked all day Sunday through every nook and cranny inside and outside of the house. On Tuesday, the Hermann street sweepers vacuumed up all of our leaves at the curb. On Thursday, we had a big rain storm which brought down most of the remaining Fall leaves. We had one more city pick up, so I raked and blew leaves into a pile knee cap deep. As I was blowing off the street just before the next pickup, I saw a glittering flash... WOW! It was the diamond earring...... We met her in St. Louis... we all rejoiced at the lost earring coming home! We'd love to have her and the crew back anytime!

Michelle and her friends were a pleasure to meet and host. It’s always great to see a mother in the mix as well. We enjoyed hosting and if they ever choose Hermann as a getaway destination again we hope they’ll choose The Songbird Haus for the accommodations.
