Apartments in Highlands for Rent

"We have stayed at The Park 5+ times when staying overnite in Highlands. It's a wonderful retreat for dogs and humans and has always been a pleasure. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our dachshunds love it. The ample sized running park behind the property is secure and perfect for your fur babies to explore and burn off their excess energy. Dog toys, treats and bedding are standard. Juices, coffee , cookies and water are free and available 24/7. Our preferred rooms are on ground level and upstairs. "

"For the off season in NC, this was a good deal for a boutique hotel. It is small and quaint. We were in Room 7 which is TINY and has a European bathroom. We were fine but double check that if it’s an issue for you. There’s live music often in the restaurant and our room is directly above it. We liked the music but if you are looking for peace and quiet, it might not be the best place for you. Also, their Sip and Stay discount DOES NOT APPLY if you book anywhere but their website so just a heads up. They don’t explain that on their website or social media. Maggie was great to work with."

"I thought things were fine, my wife didn't. The walls are thin, we could hear neighbors talking pretty easily in the room. My wife asked for tea and the desk lady told her she'd sell her a bag, they didn't put tea bags in the rooms until later in the season. The wood fire in the common area was nice. We didn't really use the balcony, it was OK I guess. There were odd noises during the night."

"The cottage was clean and spacious for a quick weekend to Highlands, NC. Living room w fireplace was perfect for an early morning coffee in front of fireplace and a nap mid-afternoon. The two bedrooms had comfortable beds and linens for hot and cold sleepers. We had several options for coffee machines and we threw a pizza in the oven late night. The cottage is a quick drive to shopping and restaurants. High marks: as a guest, we were not asked to change bed linens, vacuum, clean the bathroom…in other words we were in and out without home owner chores. Hurrah ! If all vacation rentals were this..vacation”ish”. I could live there. Thank you. bg "
