“Not a lot to say but the staff is great and very helpful. The property is not beat up, It's clean, and well kept. I will always stay here when in town.”

“On this site and the hotel site there was no where to indicate that we would be bringing our dog. Upon check in I was told I was booked for the king bed I had requested but it was on the 3rd floor where pets were not allowed. Was told I needed to be on the 1st floor but no “king” rooms were available, only queen. I then asked for the difference of $20 and was told they couldn’t do that since I had pre-paid. Why not just hand me a $20. Total B/S ! ”

“The staff that run breakfast go missing for awhile when it was the busiest time. We had to wait for breakfast scrambled eggs to show up and refills for the waffle batter. Check in and out was simple and friendly. Plenty of Parking spots.”

“Rod and Reel Resort was an excellent get away. The staff was brilliant and helpful. And everything is conveniently close to the resort.”

“We stayed in a spacious junior suite, which we really enjoyed. However, the room wasn’t well soundproofed, and we could hear highway noise at night. Overall, the room was clean, though the coffee machine could have been better maintained. The pool area was nice, but unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of service. Breakfast was fresh, and the location was very convenient. We would consider staying here again.”

“We arrived at the hotel and noticed that the hotel’s lobby area was being renovated. Big Boxed furniture was being brought into the property while we were attempting to exit the property on March 27, 2026. We had a terrible drainage issue with the sink and the tub in our hotel room. Very dissatisfied with this establishment. ”
