Overall, would recommend. A few things that could have made things even better - the resort is so huge, it can be confusing to figure out where everything is (there is a paper map provided during check in, but think an interactive/app would be much easier to navigate). It’s not always clear what is/isn’t included when staying at the resort (lots of things are discounted, but lots aren’t). The pool is a beach club. Not always suitable for children (we had our 2.5 year old with us and it could be a little rowdy in the afternoons/evenings. V quiet in the mornings. Also worth nothing that a DJ starts in the afternoon and the loud speakers are beside the kids pool making it unsuitable for young families in the afternoon/evening). The beach loungers are cash only - not a problem other than we didn’t know and had to trek back to our villa to get some as only had our phones for payment. Pristine accommodation with exceptional amenities. If returning, would get a villa with a pool next time. Parking meters at beach were broken in lots of spots so could be hard to make payment to avoid any fines. Staff in reception a little cold at times, but overall in the restaurants, beach club etc friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable for an upscale location with lots of choice for meals (of varying quality and choice). We didn’t use the shuttle as we had a rental car, and we were glad we had it as with a small child waiting up to 30 mins (as quoted at check in) would not have worked for us.

A fantastic, beautiful and almost idyllic resort just outside of Lagos. The resort is very peaceful, and if you are a golfer, has meticulously maintained courses - I wish I had a chance to play a round! Incredible views from our balcony, the restaurant, and the pool of the beach coastline, and of Lagos and Ponte de Piedade in the distance. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and, eager to please. So glad we chose this resort as it is not directly in Lagos and world away from the bustle and commotion that makes Lagos incredibly fun, but tiring. Highly recommend the Palmares Beach House Hotel!

Amazing stay. Beautiful grounds, incredible food and lovely staff.

The accommodations were clean, the check in was smooth, and our specific room had a kitchenette with utensils and large fridge. German (Herman) and Jose were outstanding. They are quick to answer questions via WhatsApp or in the lobby. The best part of our stay is the location! A 10 minute walk to Alcazar and the Cathedral, and the “waffle” looking structure. Lots of restaurants downstairs. And Carrefour a few steps away. The suites5 was perfect for our stay in Seville!
