Lovely little hotel but if you are at the front it can be noisy at night.Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good.Wifi was very 'flakey' but not sure if that was because it was so hot.Free bus / tram travel was very welcome.

Check-in was a shambles. The room I’d booked was not available, therefore I was downgraded to a sub-quality room. I had booked for 6 nights, the hotel admitted liability stating they’d stuffed up. Rooms do not have air conditioning, they have fans. If you want a portable air conditioner it costs 25 franks per day (this was waived due to their stuff up). I ended up in the crappy room 3 nights and the correct room 3 nights. Errors like this should not happen. Management was very nice.

This is just an amazing hotel in the perfect location--right at the entrance to the old city and directly adjacent to the train station. Our room was clean and well appointed, and I can't say enough about the staff, especially the desk clerk who helped us figure out the Aare swimming logistics, She even provided us with a hotel branded dry bag for floating down the river. My only comment is that the AC was not that strong, but the staff did provide us with a supplemental AC unit which cooled the room down considerably. HIGHLY recommend !

Beautiful large suite overlooking the river. The shower is small by North American standards but the hotel had Air Conditioning which is lovely. The restaurants are excellent. There was an issue with servicing the room but it was corrected immediately and overall this hotel is wonderful and absolutely stunning! Also the location is incredible.
