Waihee Ridge Hike and Iao valley are super close, Paia / Haleakala / Kula / Kihei / Maalaea / are all less the 35-minute drive. Ramu and his team were great and made us feel super welcome. "We enjoyed the one night stay we had at the Wailuku Inn. The room was clean and as advertised and the bed was very comfortable which was lovely after a long day of flights! We did a quick walk around the garden in the morning before we left and found it lovely and peaceful! Check out was a bit on the early side, but we found this to be the case at several hotels on Maui, and the parking was a bit tricky but we figured it out (we arrived after dark and it was a bit hard to see the signage).
