"This was our favorite stay on our 11 day trip. It’s a little treasure of the main road. The staff is friendly and made some great cocktails during their happy hour. Plus both dinner and breakfast the next morning were excellent. The view of the surrounding farms left us feeling safe and refreshed after a long day of fighting strong winds."

"It was amazing stay before the crazy wind, raining warnings. Me and my friend we were sleeping in campervan. Perfect place to stay if you wanna spoil yourself in Iceland."

"This property was the highlight of my Icelandic experience! It had the most beautiful, scenic location, super remote with a beautiful sea front view. I saw the northern lights 3 times from my room was an unreal experience. The place was so clean, quiet and cozy and the owners were so lovely and helpful when needed. The location is around 20 mins drive from the town so shopping and groceries were needed as it’s quite remote and the road there was a bit scary (I was there in peak winter so it was icy) but it was soo worth it. Location was very rural so I was close to the area to see seals and horses. Will never forget my time here ❤️"

"I booked this place because of the breakfast only to find out after booking it that there was no breakfast in the winter. Check in is at the bar and the rooms are up stairs. The room was clean and small. I got a single. The water smells of sulfur. These things happen. There isn’t anything close by so I had dinner in Hvammstangi. "

"Very basic accommodation. Enough for a comfortable night’s sleep, but furniture was very basic and there was nothing inviting about the place - as if someone assembled a bunch of okra stuff and placed it in the room. "
