"It was the most ridiculous hotel-experience I ever had! The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, but is impossible to reach. NO taxi will take you there, as it's located remotely in the mountains of Otavalo. From the city Tevali to the hotel there is 98 km, but from there, the hotel is only accessible with a jeep and a special trained driver that will drive you 5 hours through the mountains.
