Pleasantly surprised with the facility. Nice spacious room, well appointed but food in the adjoining restaurant is just ok, carvery looked good but cold, breakfast was fairly tasteless. Spoiled what would have been a very pleasant stay.

The Waterside Hotel
Hotel is in desperate need of upgrade on all aspects. It is like a museum piece.. Evening meal was ok.. breakfast not so good... poor selection., cooked was luke warm at best.. unless you are looking for a real budget place - avoid...

We are keen birdwatchers, cyclists and walkers so the cottage was a great base for us. The owner lives nearby if there are any problems.
