"This is our favorite place to stay when visiting both Death Valley and Mt. Whitney. We have no troubles with bringing our large dog with us. The beds are comfortable, the high-desert scenery is breathtaking, and staff are friendly. The only thing that was a little confusing is that you check in at the Cafe. No trouble, you can order dinner at the same time."

"Don’t believe the pictures! We rented 2 rooms. Everything was new, and the bed was super comfy, but the floor and bathroom were very dirty; a bit better in the 2nd room. Parking lot a bit sketchy, only because of the neighborhood. For the money, probably what should be expected. "

"A very distinctive, family owned and managed property close to Sequoia National Park. Dog-friendly is an understatement; they’re one of the rare breed that doesn’t charge a pet fee. The staff is marvelous — friendly, helpful, informative. The property is in the process of being upgraded, and by the summer should be in 5-star condition. "
