This hotel is convenient for those taking early flights from Izmir airport as it is a few hundred feet from the airport entrance. The gift is the transportation assist. We checked in and asked for a ride back to the hotel after dropping the rental car off. DONE. We also got a ride to the airport at 5 am the next morning from a kind and friendly driver.

Location was sublime: the hotel was directly on the sea and its main restaurant had seating on a pier that jutted out into the sea. Views and especially sunsets were spectacular. Backside of hotel also had jaw- dropping view of a sheltered harbor where cruise ships docked. Breakfasts were huge with lots of variety in food choices (although the only downer: no expresso/cappachino machine) and both indoor and outdoor seating. Pool area was beautiful, with lots of plush lounges, umbrellas, and even cabanas. Staff was efficient, but very warm and helpful in every way, especially the chief receptionist (I believe her name was Omer) who got me settled at check-in, the friendly bell hop who delivered my luggage, and the men who parked my car for me each day. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

The surprise upgrade to my room when I checked it was nice. The room and staff were nice overall, and the food I ordered for room service was amazing. The view of the ocean/sea from my room was beautiful. I really enjoyed the selections available for breakfast; that’s the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen at a hotel in Izmir. The only issue I had was with the water color in the shower/tub. It was a bit yellowish until you let it run a little while.

Staff at the reception were very professional and helpful. They arranged for the tour, although people should shop around for the best price. Rooms were very clean and staff upgraded my room to a suite. Sea-view room for the suite was excellent with 3 different large windows and balcony door. Location of the hotel is very convenient to close by ferries and main streets with plenty of food places along the shoreline walway. Driver for personal tour was very good to use Google translate to communicate about the scheduling and pick up locations at various sites.
