Comfortable stay, thanks.
I was comfortable in the twin room. There were some issues (broken shower hose, no AC remote, cigarette smoke smell on the linens, heating turned up very high) but nothing too bad. The shower was repaired and I opened the door to cool the room down (luckily, no mosquitoes came in). I would stay here again, I preferred it to other hotels I used in Taksim (some of which were terrible).

Wasn't sure what to think when taxi stopped outside Taksimdays! But on being greeting by Ali, we knew it was going to be a good stay. Dont be put off by the buildings in road, most of the back roads here look similar, we chose to stay in this area to be in the hussle and bussle of Taksim, and thats what we got. We were not looking for a 5star hotel. However. Rooms are clean but basic. There is a safe in rooms, which gave us piece of mind to leave valuables. Hotel is very quiet. Breakfast was ample each morning, (although a choice of what we ate would have been nice). On the whole it was a great stay. Ali and his family made us feel very welcome, we will definitely return.xx

Superb Value for your Money!
The Taksim Days hotel provides not only great helpfully staff and exceptionally clean premises but it is conveniently located within walking distance to the famous Taksim Square! As a tourists I enjoy eating and shopping where the locals go and the neighborhood surrounding the Taksim Days Hotel has plenty of options to eat delicious fresh made food at a fraction of the cost from the commercial Taksim Square food spots! Everyone I met in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel was friendly and made me feel welcomed. I will stay at the Taksim Days Hotel the next time I visit Istanbul because you cannot beat the value, location and quality of service received. ( IMPORTANT - Please note: there is no elevator at the hotel and there is upto 4 floors worth of stairs to climb. If you have any health related difficulty climbing stairs I encourage you to contact the hotel and let them know so they can accommodate a room on the first floor. This hotel is NOT wheelchair accessible)

I would recommend for my family and friends as all the tourist attractions are so very near and commute from there is no problem as there is an option for metro , tram and taxi on top of that in the hotel Ali and that beautiful girl I don’t know the are so very helpful and friendly

Worth the money
This hotel is located in walking distance to the shopping malls and tourist street. Staffs are very kind and helpful and Clean enough if you compare with what you’re paying. Air condition works well and the room has foldable extra bed. There is no elevator, but staffs helped us to carry our luggages to 4th floor.

At the end of my trip I will be insisting Expedia reimburse me. This place should have never been on their place. In the projects. The pictures do not even come close to the conditions in the world mediate area. View out our wind was a very close filthy building with broken window and shredded filthy curtains. Just to the side back corner was garbage on the alley. We did not feel safe walking through the area. Our room was clearly a smoking room. It smelled like musty old smoke. The hallway right outside our room smelled very strong of body Oder. We immediately found another place to stay and checked out. We did not even spend one night there. As to the booking rules we had to pay. I have used Expedia for years, and have never walked into something like that. I would expect them to screen what they put on their site better than that. I’m extremely disappointed in Expedia, not the hotel. The young man and girl working there were very sweet, kind, and accommodating. Their just trying to make a living in a very bad area of Istanbul.

What a lovely hotel in the heart of Taksim, a great location to immerse yourself in this beautiful part of Istanbul. Ali (the owner) was extremely hospitable and met our every need. The room was a perfect size and had a balcony for extra freshness. The breakfast was lovely and the whole place had a great vibe to chill in. Thank you, I shall be back 😊 P.s. the cat is super cute!
