It was a big mistake booking at the Loft in Istanbul. I relied on people's reviews that loved this terrible place. First of all to find it you have go through hundreds of stairs up and down dragging your luggage. No car can take you there. I was shocked when arriving at the property that looked like a hundred years old and could collapse with a minor earthquake. The major problems are getting into the room you have to go up through a swirl narrow stairs. Spending the first night trying to sleep after having difficulties reaching and getting there was a nightmare with very loud music and people's voices almost all night. As soon as the sun risen I packed my bags and booked in Double Tree by Hilton that cost me almost the same rates. I explained to management that I couldn't bear to sleep from the noisy night clubs in the neighbourhood and didn't feel safe at all requesting a refund for the rest of my stay. Their response was that I should deal with Expedia. Then after sending and receiving so many emails, managements refused to refund any of $1600 rates for 8 nights. This whole thing was misleading and a big loss from the Loft. I advise people to book their holidays at a reputable international hotels and not be misleadingly booking a boutique one.
