The room was spacious and housekeeping did a nice job every day. Most of the staff was friendly. Food was good in the buffet area bit nothing expectacular. However the specialty restaurant for dinner was really good.

The staff were friendly and great service. The problem is that the bars do not open until 11. So even if you want something to drink like a soda or water at the beach, you’d have to go to the buffet or wait. The hotel is fairly dated and the pools weren’t very clear. However being Spring Break it was very busy. The food was decent with one midweek outside bbq with excellent food. The town and shops are right across the street for good location. They could improve on having at least one bar open earlier and maybe something for snacks between meals.

This property had excellent service and really good food (primarily Mexican food). The room was quite outdated, and the facilities were quite old (but clean). It was very family friendly here, mostly Mexican families vacationing here. The waves were big most of the time, not great ocean swimming, but beautiful views. Very close to the town for walking in to shop or go to restaurants.

All staff are friendly . The problem with this hotel is black mold. It’s everywhere. The rooms, and down the hallway’s . They painted over it and it seeps through. It was so run down sadly I will be moving on.

Food was great, but it was about the same food everyday not that mu h variations. Drinks were great. Staff was friendly but cleanliness was horrible had to switch rooms, ants, roach, and lizard found in the first room.

We enjoy this family oriented resort that has close proximity to the beach activities daily, entertainment each night. Can get noisy if a conference is on site. Food is hit and miss,staff,and beach are amazing. Would go agian. The is our secong trip

We have stayed at this hotel several times. They are slowly upgrading different areas from the aging hotel they started with. The room we had this week was the same room we had on our first stay (oceanfront view) and this time was completely upgraded. The beds are excellent. I only had two irritations, one was the patio door, it kept coming off the track making it difficult to open and close. The other was a coffee pot with no coffee supplies. I enjoy a cup early in the morning and this is one of the HI perks for me. Either give guests supplies or take out the pot? Two bottles of water supplied daily which was nice and a refrigerator in the room. There are 3 restaurants, only two were open and crowded on Friday-Sunday. Food was ok, typical all-inclusive offerings. We prefer to go into town for dinners anyway. The staff is amazing, always helpful and smiling. Pool and beach service was good. This is a family friendly resort, lots of kids having a great time. The location of this hotel cannot be beat, the beach is beautiful and proximity to town is right across the street, so if you can overlook some small flaws you will enjoy your stay.

Didn't have much options for food, was the same things daily. Only one restaurant open most times. Not much for drink options. Waves at ocean were pretty rough. Most staff was rudeish but mostly could have been from the language barrier. Mold smell in our room was pretty harsh for the first couple days we had to open up our door to air it out. Shopping was good across the street. Rooms were quiet

Overall the hotel and staff were nice. The hotel was smaller than I expected. The only thing that I would like to see improved is the food and for the ice machines to be fixed, it was a hassle having to go to the bar and asking for ice. If you’re on a budget, then is is a good option.

check in was confusing, as i stepped up to counter the lady took my info and walked away, didn't say a word. Then a second persona came up, didn't bother to greet us, or explain anything about the hotel, just gave me the room keys and two other keys, I had to ask what they were for. This place is not a place to be in hot weather, the only airconditioned place is your room! you cannot enjoy a drink at any other location, at this hotel the bar doesn't even have fans, impossible to enjoy a meal or drink, and be cool, unless you want room service. The pools were swarming with children, babies in diapers, people in street clothes, and staff no where in sight. There were even people smoking around the pool area. And trying to get a chair or lounge is impossible, people come into the pool area at 6-7 am and lie towels or personal items to reserve the chairs or lounges, there is signage around, that doing this is not acceptable, but not once did i see staff doing what the signage stated would be done with personal belongings that are left unattended for more than 1/2 hr. I was hoping to get some late evening swimming without having to step over infants and children in the pool, but the pool closed at 8 pm! it was a black flag day on the beach so swimming there was out of the question. The only positive thing i can say if the food is very good, and the servers were extremely friendly and helpful, Maria de Jesus and server Adan were fantastic.

the staff was overwhelmed because it was full, so the service was poor. the room has cockroaches and also the restaurant, I needed to change my table at the restaurant because it was one. the restaurants were not well organized, long lines to be able to have meals. there were not enough beach chairs, people fighting for finding one empty because most of them were reserved by toys and towels and nobody were using them. I definitely will not come back again.

It was a nice resort.,was not impressed that no staff would say anything about kids eating inside the pool food. Kids had food dripping food into the pool. Pool water looked gross by 11am. Pool towels were so strict, be ready to stand in line for 10 minutes just to get towels.

Staff was excellent, cherry and helpful. Facility was extremely crowded with huge numbers of children, due to heavy outreach to the local market. A lot of noisy, late night partying (2 to 3am) disturbed our sleep. Security was involved at least once. The facility was kept clean by the staff, though whiffs of sewage were persistent from our pool side patio. Food was bland and monotonous. Surprisingly, no seafood was offered at this seaside resort!
