"We spent a wonderful week at Casa Christa and enjoyed this lovely setting tremendously! We stayed in Casita Elisa which was very comfortable and well equipped, and had a great private terrace and pool. Christa and Pascal were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to returning to this paradise in the mountains."

"Property was just as described and host was responsive and very helpful. Wonderfully private setting with out of this world views, yet short drive to villages of Iznajar and Rute. Pool was great and layout of the house worked very well for our family. Host (Jim) even helped us jump start our car battery which had died! We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway spot."

"La Bobadilla was exceptional. Staff were beyond attentive no matter your request. Both the restaurants were amazing, especially La Finca’s taster menu of which we have never had an experience like it. Our room was tastefully decorated in an old-style, with a beautiful patio with stunning views. Housekeeping did an amazing job at tidying the room and with turn-down service. All amenities were great. The only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough! "

"Typical Spanish hotel, full of dark furniture but in an excellent position. Restaurant looked good but was closed, maitre de directed us to possibly the worst restaurant in spain.Will definitely return as Antequera is delightful"

"The receptionist said that there were parties going on & he could change my room if it was too loud. The only time I found it loud was when we had dinner in the restaurant, kids playing around like kids do. Had a great stay & don’t mind kids playing around, shows they are happy kids!"

"The property is absolutely beautiful and is located in a very, very small town outside the very small town of Iznájar. The countryside is beautiful, rolling hills covered with olive groves. The patios and pool area are gorgeous. It’s a good choice if you have a car. I think it would be tricky if you’re relying on a train or bus system to get places. We had a car and found this to be a good central location for exploring Andalucía. We were able to get to Granada, Córdoba, and Málaga in under two hours. The hosts are nice and helpful, Kath lent is milk and even did our laundry for us! The place is well-equipped with everything you need. The only caution is be careful if you’re tall! My husband is 6’3” and had a few mishaps before he remembered to duck in the “low bridge” areas of the apartment."

"We had a brilliant time visiting Andalusia thank you. We will be back to see so much more. The villa was spot on, had everything we needed. The hosts were great and accommodating of our late arrival. Juan was quick to reply to all our messages. Lovely guy! We enjoyed days around the pool and visiting the area. The adrenaline ride on the last 200m was even fun once we were sure. The pictures, though spectacular, do not even do justice to the views. Just amazing vista across the lake. We sat every evening just marvelling at the sunset. Thank you Juan and your family."
