“Lovely inn”

“The Salt Box building has steep steps to second floor, they never asked it the stairs would present any problems for us since we were all 60 plus years old, both of the rooms had broken window blinds, we had to use towels to cover the window in the bath room. Neither room had an ironing boards, we even asked for one and they never delivered it. The in room Coffee machines were old and dirty, We knew the buildings are old but they look run down, worn out etc.”

“We got a room facing front. A street view. Next time I will request a room facing the back. It's a view of the river and a very beautiful backyard with balconies”

“Loved the historical significance and serenity! Beautiful location and they have a nice bar, restaurant and pool. The lobby is very welcoming and when they don’t serve breakfast in the dining room they put out a simple but nice take it with you treat of yogurt and fruit, juice and bagels. You really have everything you need there. Golfers will have something to do as well, there is a 9 hole course on the property. If you are a family of skiers stay at Eagle Mountain House in the winter and Ski……

“The room wasnt “dirty” but there were stains in the shower, the light on the mirror was broken, the bedding was insanely wrinkled etc Housekeeping came in part way thru our stay, and didn’t clean the floors or shower, and the bed was made but there were hairs left all over the comforter.”

“Room smelt musty, bathroom fan wasn’t working, shower pressure was way too high. Entrance light wasn’t working either. The staff is about the only thing good about this visit. I’ll likely avoid in the future.”
