For a Marriott this property was a disappointment. It's not clean and the place looks run down. For a $200 a night room I expected more

The rug in my unit was smelly. I bought a febreeze plug in to mask the odor! I do not consider it a big deal. But, the next guests might. Thank you for an outstanding stay!!

The shower design is ridiculous. Only 1 door covers half of the shower area, water runs out through the open half, soaking the floor. Management told me all of the showers in the hotel are the same, so switching rooms no help.

Enjoyed our almost week long stay for the most part. Appreciated the use of the pool and hot tub (the area around the pool could be cleaner) as there were cigarette butts everywhere as the outdoor smoking area was close by. Breakfast was generally good each day. The room was clean and comfortable however I think that housekeeping could better. The hotel is showing a little age (wear and tear) in places (fitness center) and outdoor grills need to be fixed as both were not working. Overall we would return as the value for money is good and the staff in general were very nice. In addition the location near the St. John’s Town Center is very convenient.

The room smells so bad and everything was just dirty in the corners of the room you can see a black spot looks so disgusting

Breakfast just okay
The room and service was amazing but the breakfast was not very good, i did not enjoy the sausages or the bagels. The hot water machine wasnt working and there was no vanilla cream for my coffee.

A Surprise Stay
My husband and I arrived and we couldn't find our correct building. There were no numbers on the front. I had to go up to about 4 buildings before I returned to the front desk. A woman showed us the way. Unfortunately, there was NO soap in the unit, tthe desk lamp light was dying (flickering), and the rubber at the top inside of the fridge door kept flapping when the door was opened. We did like the comfort of the unit but I thought it was a regular hotel room at the ;Marriott.

Trip to see family
Location was great with many restaurants and shopping within minutes. The room was clean and comfortable, as much as a hotel room can be comfortable. The front desk employee Jess was so nice and kind reaching out via text each day to make sure we did not need anything. We did bring our Shetland Sheep Dog (Sheltie) with us on this trip and normally she is nervous in hotels due to constant noise. This trip she remained calm and quiet. We will definitely be staying at this Residence Inn again.

I booked the wrong Residence Inn. I was supposed to be staying near Mayo Clinic. This one was dark at night. I didn't realize I had to check in at a separate building and drive to my room. I'm just not used to that. I'll pay closer attention next time. The girl at the desk was very nice and understood my safety concerns.
