They need to put up better signs for the hotel as it is far from the city. Over all a very good hotel. Restuarant needs trained and more staff. Service the first day was poor. Long wait and had to ask for plates and silverware.
Out family trip to jaisalmer was comfortable at this hotel, they had a good hot bath and the staff were nice and kind. When they arranged a taxi for us to take to another city, the driver was also good and honest.
A nice boutique heritage hotel just outside the fort. The staff were great, next remedy helpful, particularly Peter who helped us immensely by personally changing money for us out of his pocket and arranging for someone to come to the hotel to change money for us during the Indian banknote crisis. ...
Hotel building - It is a small building with just 7 rooms and is part of the fort itself. Amazing views of the city from the room and the roof top restaurant. The rooftop attracts a lot of other tourists/photographers who are not staying in the hotel. Staff - Very friendly and accomodative esp. Mr. ...
We booked two days on this desert resort. We booked a hut instead of the swiss tent as I felt it would be less colder. On reaching the venue (there a multitude of such tent resorts at Khoodi village), we were welcomed by Pappu singh's brother. We chose the 1st floor instead of the ground as we thought ...
The hotel ambience and design is very eye pleasing. You get a very good view of the fort. The toiletries were bare minimum( only bathing soap was provided).
Good set-up. Food has to be improved big time. Super deluxe room was good. Staff was attentive but restaurant staff need to scale up. Being off season we were the only people staying there and this should have resulted in a lot more attentiveness.
No reflection on the hotel itself, but if you take the train, try not pay more than 50 rupees for a tuk-tuk, as that is what it cost to get back to the train station. Rooftop restaurant makes decent food, non-touristic market area is around the corner. About 20 minute walk to fort.
the hotel advertised buffet breakfast which was not available on the first day of the stay, they did hav a buffet breakfast on the second day. also the hotel does not tell u anywherre on the web site that they are vegetarian.. only when you try to order do u figure out they serve only veg food. otherwise ...
Great rooms, helpful owners, beautiful city. We were very pleased to have booked here. Pool was small (it's a desert!) but lovely. They were able to book us a camel sunset ride and provide a driver back to jodphur at reasonable prices. Overall a great value.
