This property was nothing like advertised. The rooms were nothing like the pictures. Our rooms floor was dirty, flies throughout the room, and several area's needed wiped down before setting items down. Breakfast left alot to be desired. We ended up going to another location for breakfast. The hotel staff called us at 4:06 p.m. to see when we would be checking in. I felt this was very unprofessional and bad customer service. The positives of this stay were the pool and the motel was quiet. I would not recommend.

I was there for a quick overnight stay on my way back to Illinois from NY. I checked in a little after midnight, and the front desk employee was friendly and efficient in getting me checked in. My only suggestion…assign rooms to women traveling alone on a higher floor. It’s really uncomfortable to be at street level with windows with no opaque curtain blocking the view.

What a lovely place to spend the night! Quiet little cottage with a comfortable bed and good reading light. Really enjoyed watching the sunset and walking the steep stairs down to and up from the lake. The town of North East is nearby, although I stayed on my cabin porch and adjacent picnic table for dinner. I would definitely return.
