My mom and I took my daughter and two of her college friends to this spectacular cabin on the Rock River to spend the last few days of summer kayaking and relaxing at the river's edge. The cabin was really charming with lots of beautiful details. It had a vintage feel but with updates that made it completely comfortable and convenient. The second bedroom was perfect for my daughter and two friends. It had a separate entrance for privacy with three cozy single beds. Everything was sparkling clean including a fully stocked kitchen, linens, and towels, and a large bathroom. The cabin also had fishing polls, puzzles, firewood, tv, and super speedy internet. We spent most of our time outside kayaking up and down the river and building fires outside in the evenings. The screen porch was a beautiful place to have breakfast and watch the Great Blue Herons fly by. The city of Edgerton was a quick trip over the bridge and had the most beautiful Pharmacy. Really, it looked like a spa and offered lovely gifts as well as essential pharmacy items. There was also a Piggly Wiggly grocery store and the Red Baron Pub which made the best pizza in the universe. Finally, the hosts were super helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our stay. Thank you for everything Jan and Nelson!
