The hotel was in a great location with easy parking around the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the history of the hotel and the unique decor. Only issue is there is a bit of street noise from the restaurants across the road and people walking down the street.

We were given a room on the 5 level but unfortunately the lift only goes up to the 4th level, so the check in guy had to help us with our luggages to haul upstairs. They also promised to help us with the luggages when we check out but again the people were not around so we hauled three luggages down 1 flight of stairs ourselves.

Location is super convinient, right next to Dongmun market and shopping district. Bus stop to go to airport is just 5 minutes walk from it. Staff are very nice and helpful, can speak English (lady is better in this) Will come back again due to the great hospitality and location:)

I was so lucky to find this place! It was so much cheaper than other hotels in Jeju city. I had to stay here for 3 nights so the price was so worth it. It's across the market, round the corner from the hotel is the underground shopping street and behind the hotel is the upmarketshopping and black pork street. While the shopping can't be compared to Seoul but if you have to stay in the city, this is probably the best place, value for money. There is a 24hr supermarket selling products in big qty. The hotel staff, though not all can speak English but they are so so so friendly. The ones that could speak were so helpful. You may want to note that if you have big ass luggage, if you stay in annex building , you need to take the lift and go next building via a short link pathway

It's true this place is not in the best condition as it ages, but the condition is sufficiently good that, if you're like me, you'll love the old-timey charm. Within walking distance of the ferry terand other downtown spots.

The hotel is solidly and beautifully built (1970) and maintained. The rooms are very quiet. Your neighbors can be active and vocal, but you don't hear them. The locations is perfect. There are no amenities to speak of, but the hotel is close to convenience stores, restaurants, and shops and shopping of all kinds and levels, including a large open market and an underground market.

The hotel looks old but in fact the room is clean and well maintained. Staff cleaned the room and provided new towels everyday. Toilet is big, especially if you compare with other hotels in Korea. As it was winter, aircon could not be used, but the room has floor warming system (ondol) which worked very effectively. TV provides many channels. Counter staff could understand and speak (a bit of) English, and she was very friendly and polite. Was surprised she called me by name on my check-in day, as I had informed that I will be late. Hotel is about 15mins by car from airport, 5mins walk (northbound) to Black Pork Street, and 5mins walk (southbound) to Dongmun Market. Very very convenient if you stay in Jeju City. Overall, a great hotel with reasonable room rates. Definitely my top pick for a stay in Jeju City!

The location of the Hotel is the best, next to Isaac Toast (famous toast in Korea), Black Pork Street, across the road is the Dongmun Market & Dongmun Night Market and also Jungang underground shopping street. There's also a Daiso near Dongmun Market. There's a small but sufficient parking area behind the hotel. The staff could understand English well and the service is prompt. Room size is good and WiFi is good enough. It's floor heating in the winter so the room might be a bit stuffy, so we opened the window for air ventilation - sometimes it's quite noisy as our window faces the street.

Perfect Location and Spacious Room
This is the ideal hotel for anyone travelling to Jeju and want to experience the city center. It is perfectly located in between the underground mall and Black Pork Street, including Dongmun Market right across the road. The room was surprisingly very spacious, a double bed with a nice closet, a big bathroom and a divider between the bedroom section and bathroom. The only thing I didn't like was the balcony door was connected to the other rooms, with no divider so I didn't feel secure opening the slider door to let cool air in at night, being alone. The hotel front desk woman was very accommodating and offered the air conditioner controller which they usually don't turn on until summer. The bathtub also didn't have a shower curtain therefore half of the bathroom got soaked after a shower. This is something the hotel should consider. Otherwise no complaints and would considering staying here again when visiting Jeju.

Nice place to stay
We stayed here for 3 nights, we enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and easy to get to from the sirport. Good eateries in the area. Large market across the road. Clean, tidy and warm. We would stay again. Only complaint pillows are a bit flat, but good ven 2 more.

Aged hotel but well located.
Booked to stay Daedong for its location. But surprise with its age when we checked in. Everything in the room work well. Car park is available but very limited. The hotel is well located if you like to visit Jeju market. It is just across the road.

Well worth hotel
Clean & spacious room, fit the budget, and the location is only 5 mins walk to Dongmun market, Jeju Jilson Fashion street & Jungang underground shopping centre are definitely a plus for this hotel. I had a good stay in this hotel even though it was only a night.
