"This very reasonably-priced resort is the way to go if visiting this area. We had a wonderful unit, perched up the hill and loved our daily treks into town below (you can also drive, but we chose not to). An added bonus was the fitness track with various exercise stations around the property and we made sure to take advantage of the pools, the hot-tub, and the saunas. Everything is well-maintained (although the ping pong table is in need of replacing 😉). The continental breakfast is a cut above and offers whole grain breads, cheese and hard boiled eggs, plus delightful little jars of chia pudding, fantastic croissants and a selection of delicious homemade kiwi jelly, lemon curd, and even homemade chocolate and hazelnut spread. Dinner at their restaurant was likewise excellent. We had a great stay at Kimi Ora and would highly recommend it!"

"We stayed at the Beach Bach and it had the most amazing views! The cabin was spacious and very well designed- loved the log burner in the middle of the living area and the fire pit outside. Great kitchen too! Had a truly amazing stay and left with great memories of a beautiful place"

"An amazing place to stay! Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They had thought of everything to make our stay truly special, from the little details in our room to the warm hospitality throughout. Our room was incredible – sea views, spacious, beautifully presented, and so comfortable. Having our own chef who cooked delicious meals for us was such a treat, and the food was outstanding. The location couldn’t be better, with direct access to a golden beach that felt like our own private paradise. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience – highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly memorable!"

"A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. Staff were really helpful and hospitable - I'd stay here again, for sure. One of the most comfortable places I have stayed on my trip through NZ."
