Nice place, very clean! Have Very big 4 kitchen areas which we used to cook and a very big common eating areas also 2 fridges, washing machine was also available for extra cost but we found it a bit expensive. Great place would definitely recommend to stay at this place!

It was ok- paid $280 something for four, maybe this is the usual rate for August. What is nice is there are utensils, kitchen with stove and everything. Place is way out of main road- we missed it using the GPS and has to call the facility.

Staying at Hvoll
We spent 1 night here. It was a well equipped hostel and the views were stunning from here. It was well located for the glacier. The room was small but comfortable. It is pricey for what you get. There is a gravel road to get to the hostel.

Nice building with big shared kitchen area
There were three nice, well-equipped kitchens. Place can be crowded, making it a challenge to find an open kitchen or bathroom. Nearest grocery store is about 25 km away, so if you plan to cook, buy food before you arrive. Facility can be hard to find, but its location is good, about halfway between Skaftafell and Kirkjubaejarklaustur. Place is clean and well-maintained.
