This historically significant residence in Shirakawa is well-liked by travelers, so put it on your schedule. Don't think the sightseeing ends there, however. There are loads more places waiting for you to check out after Kanda-ke. Shirakawago Historic Village, Open-air Museum Shirakawa-go, and Shirakawago Gasshozukuri Homurajin Museum are close by.
