Very attentive staff and great accommodations! There isn’t much to do after morning safari so make a plan for that.

Kapama Karula exceeded our expectations in a significant way! The photos online do not do justice to the beautiful rooms, common areas and safari experience. My husband and I stayed there last week for our honeymoon and were truly amazed at the quality of service, the cleanliness and especially the food. What a beautiful experience this was. I was blown away with the hospitality and service this lodge provided. The staff are incredible and make you feel at home. They go above and beyond. Tintswalo, Erasmus, Faith, Collins and Nicco were a few to mention. The game drives were sensational . This will remain a core memory for years to come. Can’t wait to visit again.

We stayed at the suite and were delighted with the accommodations. The game drives were insanely interesting and the guides were top notch! Although it is a closed reserve, it is big enough to get a real sense of being in the wild, and you are almost guaranteed to see the big 5 (minus the leopard if you're not lucky, we were!) The animals almost don't notice you and behave naturally, a truly amazing experience!

Excellent staff, wonderful room, comfortable bed, beautiful setting.

Loved visiting Leopard's Lair - the setting is excellent on the "other" end of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and on the Mohlabetsi river - it really feels secluded and more "in the bush". The rooms are large and beautiful with the patio/balcony and outdoor showers. The team is excellent - our host and property manager Sonja was warm and wonderful and had so many great suggestions about Hoedspruit (all her food recommendations were perfect!).

They make you feel special. The food is great, you get 3 different choices at every meal. The "games" or safaris are twice a day and the rangers are very professionals. The Spa is marvelous and accommodating to people itineraries. Over all, an extraordinary experience.

Exceptional experience from start to finish. Where else can you start your day with a beautiful outdoor shower followed by a delicious breakfast in the garden including a visit by a giraffe just a few feet away? We would love to return back sometime soon.

We stayed at Mohlabetsi for two days. Everything was top-notch, from the greeting as we arrived at the Lodge, to the farewell upon departure. The setting is wonderful, with a large green lawn under shade trees where a lovely lunch was served upon our arrival (as we gazed at the giraffe in the reserve just a few yards from the lawn). Absolutely incredible, surrounded by natural beauty, welcomed into a stunning home, treated like family. This was a very special place that we will never forget. If you are in the area, you must experience this location. Food was delicious, equal to a fine dining restaurant. The staff were so kind!
