Really enjoyed my stay due to the well appointed room, well maintained grounds, helpful staff, very good breakfast, nice pub meals and excellent amenities including kayaks, tennis, basketball, barrels saunas and an extremely clean heated pool. The hotel is charming and set on a beautiful stretch of lake. There is a golf course across from the parking lot. The beach area is public and nice but not as appealing for swimming. Pros: Beautiful setting, charm and grace with plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the view. This includes multiple fire pits. All team members were great. Great pool and on site amenities included. Very positive experience. Cons: Very low shower water pressure. Daily room servicing is minimal (no need for turn down). Food and drinks are on the expensive side, commensurate with the 4* property. Lack of pricing on things like a designer ice cream bar ($16!) in the on site store. No pads on lounge chairs by the pool. No pool side service (or online ordering). These are issues that for me would make it even better. This is an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended.

We love that we can take our dogs. Great water access and lots of life jackets and kayaks. Any questions or items needed they were very helpful!

We love that you’re right on the water… You could see the lake from our sliding door.. it seems like the room was just redone.. We will be back!

No staff on hand. Key code to get in room. Was not anything like the advertised picture. Weeds outside 3 or 4 feet high. U hail trucks out front. Bed was hard as a rock. Coffee and tea there but no kettle or coffee maker so useless. Could hear everything in next room. Fog barking people talking. On highway 11 so very noisy with non stop traffic. Paid for 2 nights left after first night of no sleep. Never to return.
