Kent City Vacations from $987

DO NOT STAY HERE! When we arrived in our room we checked the bed for bed bugs and found what looked like dog crap under the mattress!!! It was late and unable to get a room at another hotel since it was the busy week of the Tulip Festival so we got a different room at this same hotel. We got the key to a different room and when we opened the door we found that this room was occupied! We immediately closed the door and returned to the front desk. What a big security violation that was to give us the key to another person’s room!!! The girl at the front desk was alone and overwhelmed with checking in all the people in line and our issues. No manager was on duty to talk to. We finally settled into what appeared to be a decent room but over the next few days found the carpet to be extremely dirty. It made the bottom of our socks and shoes black after walking on it. I asked to talk to the manager every day when we were there but no manager was ever available until our last day when we checked out. She wasn’t very apologetic and just took off one night’s stay on our bill. Like I said previously, we certainly would have gone to another hotel right away but it was an extremely busy week of their Tulip Festival and no other hotels had availability. Also, our daughter’s family was on route and arriving late the same evening to stay at this same hotel and we would have had to get an additional room for them too at another hotel which wasn’t possible. Would NOT recommend this hotel!!

A gem of a property & hosts. Private, quiet location.
