“We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable with a new shaker modern style kitchen, so very easy to make a simple meal. The bed was super comfortable in a roomy upstairs bedroom. Valerie the host is a warm and helpful host who welcomed us upon arrival to ensure we were……

“Perfect house, very quiet and clean. Owner was very nice and helpful, less than 10 min drive to shopping and attractions. Castle is big tourist area, less than 10 min away. Def would stay here again if back in Scotland ”

The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. ”
