This condo was everything that was promised in the VRBO description, but what really set it apart from the average rental were the owners Frank and Susan. The personal touch from the welcome basket with all kinds of goodies to the champagne with ice provided. Frank's quick response to any issues or questions was very helpful. The bed is superbly comfortable. The view was spectacular. I mean you are truly so close to the ocean and sparkling clean beautiful beach you feel you could almost reach out and touch it. If I could give more than five stars I would. Thank you Frank and Sandy.

First time on Maui
This is our first time on Maui. My mother recommended this specific location in Kihei. She loves the old-school vibe of this part of the island. My husband and I would prefer a more current vibe. The unit is very nice inside. Our hosts thought of everything that one may need. Very comfortable furniture, including the king-size bed. The view and sound of ocean out our windows is breathtaking. We are right on the beach. We face west, so the sunset is visible nightly. It’s a 30 minute beach walk/10 minute drive to businesses. We thought we wouldn’t need a car, even though there is a parking place on site. Wish we had rented one. Luckily, we had many friends also visiting who could ferry us around in their cars when we needed it. Also, we used Uber quire a bit. This was a learning experience. Our hosts went out of their way to make it the best it could be. Even bringing us more coffee pods on request.

Delightful, centrally located and relaxing
This top floor suite makes a great base for a Maui vacation. A long, flat walkable beach, well kept pool, BBQ area and waterfront make the experience beyond the room a most pleasant one while the well kept, very well appointed condo with welcoming hosts made our week long vacation on the island relaxing, and easy.

Paradise!
Perfect location on a long stretch of beach to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Condo was neat, clean, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, beach supplies, etc for our stay. Lovely balcony to sip coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Owners were the best hosts-special touch was a celebration basket of treats and champagne. Perfect, quiet location to walk the beach, get coffee, farmer’s market, explore the island, eat out or bbq at the condo. Thank you Sandy and Frank for making our vacation special! Hope to visit again in the future!

Perfect stay for two on the beach

Perfect Condo!
Paradise Found was the absolute perfect place for our quiet Christmas getaway. The condo is small but feels spacious with the way it is set up. The decor is clean but comfortable and homey. It had everything we needed to cook meals with a few extra special touches from our hosts. The view from the lanai is incredible - we had our morning coffee, ate several meals, and played games looking out at gorgeous sugar beach and the Pacific Ocean. We will definitely stay again!

Paradise Found Indeed!
This was our second stay in this unit and third at the property. The unit is well-appointed with quite possibly the most attentive owners, oh and it has a fabulous view of the ocean. The property as a whole is wonderful. It's almost like you have your own private beach. We'll be back in 2024!

Beautiful introduction to Maui
Aloha! My husband and I just spent 5 awesome nights at “Paradise Found”. Sandy and Frank do an exceptional job at hosting. They supply every little thing one needs. Just add delicious meals and drinks. We were sad to leave but already thinking about our return trip. Book your lodging with Sandy and Frank. I didn’t even mention the over the top gift basket. We really enjoyed our stay this condo. This was the best stocked condo we've ever stayed at. It had everything we needed. The free parking was great. It was just steps to the beach and a beautiful pool. Evertime I texted the owners they always responded back in a very timely manner. Can't say enough good things.

A Step Above
The owner went out of their way to make our stay outstanding. There were more amenities then listed on-line. Each nicer than the other. Without question it was the best equipped kitchen we've ever rented. It was setup perfectly for two people. Be aware that the rolling waves and feral chickens add to the ambiance of the location.

Feral chickens are rare on the condo property. They are humanely trapped and removed as soon as possible.

This condo is truly paradise found! My husband and I stayed here for 9 nights and cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay on the island for our first trip to Maui! We were in awe with how close the condo is to the beach and the view from the lanai is absolutely breathtaking! A highlight of our stay was falling asleep listening to the sounds of the ocean waves every night! The condo looks exactly as shown, as described. The condo was very clean and very well organized; it is so cozy and very relaxing! The condo is very close to the airport and so easy/convenient to get to Wailea-Makena, Paia, the road to Hana and road to Haleakala. Frank and Sandy are amazing hosts and excellent communicators who have gone above and beyond to make their condo feel like a home to their guests and are extremely welcoming! From the personalized welcome message on the dry board, the Safeway grocery store member card to use, the welcome basket full of local goodies including a bottle of champagne and bag of ice in freezer, to the handwritten welcoming notes, they truly care for their guests and want to make your stay perfect! They have everything and more you will need for your stay to cook if you choose (we loved using the Vitamix every AM for smoothies), doing laundry, and hanging at the beach (we used the boogie boards). Sugar beach was quiet and perfect for walking the beach and for swimming. Mahalo Nui Loa Frank and Sandy! We'll definitely stay when we return! Much love, K&G from MN

We loved this condo
We had everything we needed and more for our week long vacation/ 10 year anniversary trip. The condo is very well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We have an almost private beach & pool every day during our visit. Our hosts we very quick to answer any questions that we had & even suggested a wonderful restaurant while there. We were there during the tragic fires on Maui & our hosts were very flexible with our ever changing departure date & times. We really appreciated that during such a very unsure time. We would love to return this wonderful location on another trip back to Maui

Truly Paradise
This Kihei property is just perfect! Sandy and Frank have gone above and beyond to provide their guest with all the amenities you might need for a beach vacation! (Beach Chairs, coolers, boogie boards, and much more) Their condo has direct access to a beautiful and quiet beach. The waves are very gentle. Just right for a relaxing day! Sandy and Frank also make themselves available if you have any issues or questions. We will definitely be returning to this property again in the near future!

We had a lovely time. The condo was cute and cozy. It had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaints are that it was a little warm at night even with the air on, and also too many night lights all over the condo. If you like it dark, bring a sleep mask😊

Excellent location!
We couldn’t have found a better location! We island hopped on 3 day trips but returned each night. This location was perfect for all we wanted to do in Maui! The condo views were awesome. From the lawn we could whale watch and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. (Certainly didn’t matter to us but there are no lights on balcony). If we return to Maui this will be our first choice of homes away from home.

Great location on the Island if you plan to tour around. I think we were on every road this trip. Beautiful view, nice quiet beach and plenty of it to walk on. Sad we didn't get to see any whales. Plan to try and stay here next time we get to visit Maui

This unit is outstanding in every way! It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay on Maui, from kitchen items (coffee and spices!) to a day at the beach with chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards! The owners were extremely accommodating from the very beginning of reserving the condo to letting us stay late on departure day as they had no one coming in that day. They are very quick to respond to questions. The location is perfect as base for exploring the entire island and right on the beach. We highly recommend this unit and these hosts! The condo is named Paradise Found and we named our trip the same. They have provided everything you will need including beach chairs boogie boards noodles. You will be staying somewhere special and it’s conveniently located with underground parking. If you don’t like sand, the grass area between the pool and ocean will be your happy place. BBQ area with picnic tables are there. All the comfort’s of home and if there is something you need, the owners are super cool and will accommodate you. We will stay here again.

We had an incredible experience in Maui, and Paradise Found was a big part of it. Between the basket of goodies, champagne, heartfelt note, and dry erase board message, we felt welcome the second we entered the cozy condo. We appreciated the items for our use including the coffee, laundry products, body wash, beach towels, etc. The adjustable bed was an added bonus. The instructions were abundant and clear. We absolutely would return to this perfectly located property if we visit Maui again.

The perfect condo on Maui!
Frank and Sandy’s apartment is wonderful. Great location, incredible view, and sleep to the sound of the waves. The beach, steps away, is never busy. It’s a quick ride to Kihei and restaurants and food trucks, and its central location is great for day trips. The apartment has everything you might need. We’d stay here again without a second thought.

Fantastic place on the beach!
This condo exceeded all of our expectations! It was perfect for the two of us. We fell asleep and woke to the soothing sounds of the surf everyday. It's outfitted with everything needed for the beach--chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards--and a comfortable place to come back to after a day of wandering or hanging out on one of Maui's beaches. It's just a short walk down the beach to the Sugar Beach Bakery and Ululani's Hawai'ian Shave Ice--two not to be missed spots in Kihei. It's also nicely away from the tourist hubbub of central Kihei (and a refreshing break from Lahina and Kaanapali), but a short drive to get to the complex of restaurants at Kalama Village. We'd definitely stay here again!

Location, location, location. Very nice condo, Frank and Sandy have put a lot of thought into every little detail, makes for very comfortable stay. Having the beach steps away is great. Early March is prime time for humpback whales, and we could see plenty from the lanai. Not only is location great for the beach but a great location for the airport and for day trips to Lahaina, etc. The keyless entry and garage access just made everything more efficient. Highly recommend this condo.

We were so grateful we found this place. We were needed a quiet place to relax, and this delivered. Easy to get to good food and activities, but the condo itself is at the edge of all the action in a way that allowed us to totally relax. Wonderful 40th Anniversary Trip!
After having a planned cruise canceled only nine days prior to our sail date, we shifted our focus and decided on Maui instead! Having lived on the island for a few years, we were excited for the opportunity to go back for a visit and catch up with many friends. We are so glad we found "Paradise Found"! With views from the lanai right to the beach and ocean, we enjoyed watching whales, having morning coffee or afternoon snacks, and spending evenings listening to the waves. With the close proximity to the beach, it's easy to go out for a walk on the beach, or to take advantage of the lawn chairs and lounges for some sunning in the afternoons. Even though we only ate breakfasts or snacks in the unit, we could have easily cooked a full meal if we had chosen to do so. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking and service items, spices, and paper goods. Also, having the Keurig is a great addition. We bought some additional flavored pods and enjoyed the variety supplied as well. Frank and Sandy have supplied the unit well with towels (both bath and beach towels), beach chairs, beach umbrella, a safe, coolers, vacuum and broom for quick cleanups, a variety of soaps, a first aid kit, and tasteful decor. Two definite pluses are the assigned parking space in the secured underground garage and the full-size washer and dryer in the unit. The central island location is beneficial for when activities are planned in a variety of locations on the island. We were able to get to Kihei, Wailea, Lahaina, and Kahului with minimal traffic. We are already planning another visit to Maui within the next year or so and will definitely check to see if "Paradise Found" is available!

Christmas In Paradise!
WOW! From start to finish this experience was amazing. Great communication from the owners, outstanding property and location and everything you could possibly need waiting for you as you walked through the door. Basket of goodies and the personal greeting were also a really nice touch and oh yes, theres that unbelievable view from the balcony! The pride of ownership and desire to deliver a quality experience really shines through here. We can't thank Frank and Sandy enough for sharing this wonderful place with us for Christmas. We could not have found a more perfect rental to celebrate our 40th Anniversary on Maui! Everything that you could want for your vacation in Paradise is thoughtfully provided at this location...and then some! The welcome basket of treats plus having coffee pods for that first cup on the lanai as you watch the sunrise were special touches. Frank and Sandy have put so much attention to detail from the decor to all the amenities that are available in this condo. You can feel the Aloha Spirit! The best word to describe this piece of Paradise is Perfection!!
