The only issue is parking. The Kings Lynn parking machine requires you to feed coins for limited hours. I had to download their unique pay app to avoid feeding the meter every few hours day and night.

One night stay
Bank House was beautiful. A couple of problems, there was nobody at reception when we arrived, vey tired, despite having already spoken to the manager saying we would be arriving shortly. We had to ask someone serving in the restaurant to find the manager on duty. There was a missing curtain hook at the end of the curtain rail, meaning the curtain didn't close properly. That said, we enjoyed our stay, the bedroom was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of water for a shower in the morning. Sadly, there is no dedicated parking. but it was only a small charge overnight at the parking meter outside. We had to top up again at 8am. The breakfast was exceptional. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Let down by the bed.
Service was fantastic. Food was brilliant. Wine was a little musty (maybe they need to look at how it’s being stored) Bed was terrible— pillows were very lumpy. Had a very uncomfortable night. A shame, as everything else was great.

Characterful, very large room, with very large comfy bed and sitting area with lovely arm chairs. Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast absolutely delicious. Very dog friendly, pooch was allowed to come and dine with us, hotel even provided a dog bed for our room.

All the staff from front of house to the cleaners was absolutely lovely. Rooms were clean although a little sparse, but bed was comfy, room was quiet and breakfast was great!

The customer service at The Bank House was faultless. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the team helped make our stay really enjoyable. Our room was great (we stayed in the Captian’s room) and the breakfast included was delicious. If we’re ever in the area again we would happily come back to stay.

Excellent location next to the Quay and within easy walking distance of the town. It’s an historic building with very well appointed rooms, a restaurant which serves good food and popular bar all supported by courteous and friendly staff.

Bank House festival too weekend
What a brilliant time we had here. Staff were great the hotel was clean, tidy and very smart. The weekend was festival too weekend in Kings Lynn with the music stage in the square outside the hotel. The group opening the festival the Rick Parfitt Jnr band were excellent they must have played for two hours a rock party band - brill. They were followed by a fireworks display that we could see from our room - fantastic. We ate at the hotel a couple of times food very good. Would highly recommend the Bank House.

Already planning to come back
Lovely old historical hotel in the middle of the oldest and most interesting part of Kings Lynn. It’s next to the restaurant get and the views to the river and /or the Customs House are great. Service was really good and friendly. Room was superb! We are in the restaurant with friends and loved everything. Breakfast was excellent. We didn’t realise how nice Kings Lynn is to visit & already want to come back and stay here again
