Super cute little home that is walking distance from gorgeous downtown Kodiak, Alaska. The island, famous for its enormous Kodiak bears, is a wonderland to explore! It is an outdoor paradise! Walk up scenic Pillar mountain just out the front door. Walk to town in minutes to visit the Kodiak Island Brewery, the fishing harbor, Kodiak History Museum, Alutiiq Museum, and so much more. Hike, fish, hunt, go kayaking... it is all world class! This island is teeming with wildlife including bears, deer, fox, sea lions, otter and so much more. Wildflowers abound in the summer months. Our house is clean and adorable with all necessary amenities.
Guest accommodations at this vacation home offer coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Accommodations are furnished with sofa beds, dining tables, and kitchen islands. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations.

Perfect little home away from home! This little house was a perfect setting for a time of respite after my sisters surgery, very comfortable. It's always nice to have a place to stay where it feels like you live there.

Sewing retreat
This is a well, taken care of home to visit and stay, right in the heart of a friendly neighborhood, lots of hustle and bustle but respectful. I walked quite a bit, so had a firsthand experience of how people react to strangers walking along was like "home". Thanks John, for being so accommodating, esp in my extra stay, following this one.

Best decision of my life
This house blew me away. It's small, cute, cozy, and has pretty much all you need. I was pleasantly surprised with the supply of k-cups, shampoo and conditioner, and Netflix! The beds were sooo comfy, especially the pillows. The showerhead has great pressure, it even lights up! I would 1000% recommend this place.

Great place.
Host was lovely- though I did not interact much with him - which was perfect for me. Warm rooms with wall heater. Huge TV’s in bedrooms and living room. Very clear instructions and quite clean. Easy check in and secure. Keypad lock was awesome. No keys to loose. Host gave us early check-in time - which was grand. Neighborhood was only one mile from the wharf - but be prepared for noise at night until at least 11pm or so. Overall - enjoyed.
