To be fair, there was renovation underway during our visit. Still, finding the dirty soak next to the bed was gross. The front view was a busy highway, and out back was a parking lot. The room was very tiny. Peaking into another room I saw that it was normal size. Not sure how we got the tiny room. I couldn't even get out of the bed without my butt opening the curtains. An annoying reminder to keep with my diet lol. Wasn't particularly close to anything. However, five stars to the staff, and the aminities - decent gym, lounge, and breakfast. Still, overall three stars

The hotel was lovely. Great service. Lots of things to do and a lovely selection of restaurants to dine in.
Only downside was that there was no phone in the room so having to contact room service I had to use my international minutes for this. Not experienced this at any hotel before.
There is also no room service during the day so you have to leave your room for food.
Final issue was the bed was 2 singles put together and bedding was also laid as 2 singles which was odd but manageable.
I would definitely recommend to friends and family regardless!

"There is no hotel quite like the Grand Curiosa! From the decor and amenities-this place is one of a kind! Also having a rooftop bar, a cafe that had amazing desserts, and the breakfast buffet (which was like nothing I’d ever seen!!) was so nice/made things so easy. I would hands down love to come ..."
