Exceptional and magnificent hotel. A bit far from the livelier districts but easily accessible since it's located in front of a major avenue full of taxis.
Lovely hotel, couldn’t fault it. On arrival they gave us 2 free drinks vouchers and a free light lunch voucher for each day of our stay. Very good location about 10 min walk to the station. Facilities were very good free coffee, water and snacks. Would definitely go back.
Rooms felt claustrophobic, area around hotel was not nice, but safe. Breakfast was average but we did not enjoy it. The bath area was very special and enjoyable. Hotel entrance was cute.
I really liked the cozy beds, all the amenities and the shower!
Morning buffet has lots of western & Asian options.
There are several nearby restaurants and an Italian option within walking distance that has incredible pizzas, Cirq Italiano.
The modern interior was also welcoming!!
Service and cleanliness amazing. Only minus was not at least bar service throughout the day. Got back from a long day of exploring and unable to get a beer until 6pm. But kept our bags on the final day after check out so we could sightsee before our train. Taff beyond amazing. Would stay again.
Only thing we missed was a window looking outside. We had an internal room looking onto a wall. Otherwise great hotel, clean well organized rooms, friendly staff, goid location close to metro.
We stayed at 2 other hotels in Japan and this our favorite. The room and the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located next to a grocery store. The hotel amenities included a snack/drink bar, coin laundry, and a public bath (super clean). The only downside was the size of the room but that's a given in Japan hotel. Still enough space to get around. Would 10000 percent stay here again.
Very pretty hotel that was within easy walking distance of downtown and Ponchoto Alley, plus close to the subway and not far from Kyoto Station. Our room was fairly large and the bathroom was beautifully appointed. There is a common space that includes light snacks and beverages (so nice!), laundry facilities, a gym and onsens - these were all excellent and such bonuses. We would definitely stay here again.
Good service, hotel is ok. It’s clean, the elevator and floors smell like smoke. The rooms do not. Did not even talk about a room upgrade for gold members. Overall, it’s an ok hotel, I wouldn’t consider it 4 stars.
The location was accessible to public transportation or by walking to tourist sites and shopping centers. The hotel amenities were spacious, unique, and abundant. My room was cleaned very well and the atmosphere was truly relaxing. It was an excellent stay throughout.
Fab stay, large rooms for Japan and with a modern but also traditional style with tatami flooring. It was a great location for us. A little walking distance to main attractions but close enough to metro.
Rooms were a nice size and clean. Good amenities available, property was within walking distance of transportation. Staff were pleasant however did not measure luggage properly for luggage forwarding. Training should be provided for staff on how to measure correctly.
Staff was very helpful. They went out and beyond. Facility was clean at all times. Would happily stay here again.
7-Eleven was walking distance away. Very convenient. Wish they would have vending machines within the different floor for easy access.
It is a basic hotel in Japan. There is nothing very special about it. Close to Gojo station so that was a good thing. We got a room which was super small and had construction going on. No one slept all night. I reached to hotel staff and after 9 hours of going through it they gave us an upgrade and quiet room which was nice of them. It was a pain as we had paid expedia and so I had to call expedia. In future I would rather pay at the hotel to avoid these issues.
This was a busy hotel very close to a main area of Tokyo so transportation very accessible. Staff were excellent. Dining area was always busy and choice of food varied and plentiful. Amenities were provided in the room and lobby
Hotel was clean and nicely situated in walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The only thing is cigarette smell was very strong in all elevators for some reason. Room was small but cozy enough for a family of 3. AC wasn't able to go lower then 20 degrees Celsius so it got pretty warm during the night. We were sweating and didnt notice any AC air blowing. Only 1 restaurant at the hotel so not other choices to pick. The hot spring bath was wonderful. We used it everyday. Good to relax your muscle after a full day of walking.
The service was excellent! And we loved the onsen. The hotel was further away from most of our activities. However, it was lovely to return to a well appointed room and calming ambience.
It was in a great location. We were a short train ride from so many sights. We only took the train once. There was plenty to do within a 15 minute walk. Only negative is they charge more for children over 12 that should have been caught during booking. Which i would say was an oops on expedias site rather than the hotel.
