Welcoming and clean but not uptight. Great location for exploring Kyoto, it’s close enough to busses and trains for a quick walk, but far enough away from the stations to not be too crowded. The courtyard is charming and all the staff were very helpful.

Great location. Me and my party went based on reviews and were not disappointed. A good about 10~15 minute walk from train stations, Nishiki Market, Kamo River, and bus stations. Atmosphere of the hotel feels very casual and friendly.

I highly recommend this property to English speaking tourists. The property is mostly staffed by other foreigners speaking English and other languages. Aside from that the check-in and check out processes are painless, and the rooms are well equipped. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi station and there are plenty of options for shopping, food, and drink a short walk away. Very convenient choice for a stay in Kyoto!

They had self service towel stations for drop off and pick up which was amazing. I’m not too keen on someone coming to clean my room during my stay so I loved that feature. As well as there being no physical key, just a code for the door.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. A wheel came off the wheelchair and after trying to fix it personally, they were able to direct us to a garage where a very competent mechanic repaired it for an extremely reasonable fee. Each time they were approached for anything they found a good solution in a kind way. The app is pretty cool also.

Loved the space in the room the way it was organized and the staff. They have staff from all over the world which we found enchanting plus they were very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant was lacking in choice and it was very difficult to get what you wanted for breakfast after the eggs Benedict ran out. That was my only complaint.

The hotel staff were lovely and so helpful. Also, they all spoke different languages which was very helpful. Place is no frills, functional, and clean. If you’re looking for high-end lavish this isn’t it but if you want a relaxed, hip, centrally located place which isn’t very expensive, stay at the Kabin Kyoto Hotel!

酒店職員英文與服務都一流。 登記手續稍為有些繁複，但之後過程十分順暢，酒店的設施也很時尚和高級。唯一不足的地方是洗手盆位置設在走廊，如果在廁所內感覺更理想。 睡覺時亦都十分舒適。
