"Typical older hotel but nice. Nice breakfast, good size room. We had I little wait to check in, there was no staff available to check us in for about an hour on Sunday afternoon. "

"The villa is amazing, laid out well with lots of space both indoors and outside. The pool area is clean and very relaxing, even has a pull over roof so you can still use the pool no matter what the weather. The balcony of a late afternoon/evening is glorious to relax on in the evening sunshine with a nice glass of something cold. Jean-Marc and Fabrice are extremely welcoming, with complimentary toiletries (even to the extent of having your name printed on the ribbon of the packaging), wine and a bottle of water ready and waiting for you in the fridge after a long drive. "

"Maison dans son jus, mobilier vieillot, nécessiterait quelques rafraîchissements, et surtout climatisation indispensable car chaleur insupportable à l'étage en août. Maison située sur les hauteurs avec accès un peu difficile, mais assez proche de la ville à pied. Environnement calme, jardin agréable avec vue dégagée. Propriétaires à l'écoute et réactifs. "

"Pascal communicated well and the entire process was pretty slick. The villa itself is brilliant with loads of space and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Also easy driving distance to plenty of great places in the surrounding area, including the wine farm that produced Whispering Angel Rose (only 14 minutes drive).The only thing we found would have made the stay even better would be if the property had aircon, which was really missed in the heat. It was the only downside to the stay and something I would have been prepared to pay more for. I cannot fault Pascal for that though as we knew it going in, which is why I still give this 5-stars regardless. Something to look out for if your weather forecast is high heat though, which was apparently unusual for the area to be fair.Overall, highly recommend! "

"Warning at the end! This was a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming town. The front desk person was an angel and the manager was great. Our room was spacious, compared to others we stayed in during this trip. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine. Very nice breakfast. The hotel only had 10 parking spaces and they were all occupied. Fortunately I was able to park on the street across from the hotel because it was a Saturday night and the parking ban there was not enforced that late or in the morning. Moral of the story: Get there as early as possible so you can grab a space. However, the garage is tight so try on-street parking if your vehicle is big."
