We stayed for the state gymnastics championship. I had requested a room that was quiet and as far away from the pool as possible. It was a busy weekend but we slept good and it was a quiet location. We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay again.

The check in staff, despite it being quiet, were quite curt and unfriendly. I had to ask for information that typically would be provided (such as should I park next to what door, direction to our room , etc). Had me doubting my choice of stay right away. Rooms were clean, the beds very firm. I do wish they had the standard waffle makers as the pancake maker was always on the Fritz. The lights on the private beach made for a relaxing spot in the evenings. Overall I would stay again though the reception kind of spoiled the overall stay.

We booked the hotel because of the pool. Rooms were ok. Our view was the trailer park. The people in the next room were partying all night. We got no sleep. Walls are very thin. Called front desk at 3am. They talked to them but the noise continued. We had trouble with our keys when we checked in they didn’t activate them. They locked us out of our room 20 min before check out time. Had to go to the front desk twice to get them activated so we could grab our things. Not worth the price we paid. Would not have picked this hotel if not for the pool.

This is our teams second stay at the hotel. We come for the Ronald McDonald tournament. The place is clean, friendly staff and the boys love relaxing in the pool area after a long day of basketball! This hotel offers a very nice younger kids swim area which is a double win for families like mine with younger siblings traveling along.

Room was ok. Found some garbage behind the tv when we got there left from previous guest. Kleenex box was empty. My kids had a great time at the pool area. Our door didn’t shut overly well so had to make sure I pulled it shut behind me.

This hotel was horribly overpriced and inconvenient. This is an older hotel, not in a desirable area, it is what it is. The staff do their best and maintain it but it does not warrant $200 a night price tags. The in-room and buffet coffee is absolutely horrible with powder mix-in creamer. For what you are charging you can at the very least serve decent coffee with real half and half.

Room for improvement, but overall a nice place
Our room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. The pool was said to be open untill 11 pm, but a staff member came around the pool area at 9:30 pm telling everyone we had an hour left in the pool area. That cut our time down a half an hour. The beds were not very comfortable, but they were clean. The breakfast was alright. They had pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, muffins and toast.

The hotel was fine. The pool looked pretty nice but didn’t have time to use it. Rooms with pool views are pretty noisy but understandable for that. The breakfast was pretty disappointing not many options and they lost electricity on the bar so nothing was really working for hot options. Otherwise the room was very nice and clean easy to find your room and park close by a close door.

Once I was checked in and hauled myself along with my 5 yo granddaughter and both our luggage to our room we realized that the room key cards had not been activated. I can’t leave her or our luggage in the hallway so I had to schlep it all back to the front desk and then back to the room again. Keep in mind that this is a large spread out property. Issue #2: There were way too many people already at the pool so there was no way we were going to enjoy that. We’ll go back in the morning after breakfast. #3: I’ve stayed here before when they had a waffle maker but no, now they have a really slow pancake maker. Of course there were kids making themselves 8 pancakes (no way they were going to eat all those!) at a time so it took forever just to get a couple for us. Let’s get back to the pool as soon as it opens and beat the rush! Wishful thinking. We had the hot tub for about 5 seconds before we were joined by at least a dozen kids so we got outta there! The pool wasn’t any better so that was about I could take. Not sure we’ll ever stay there again.

The hotel is located by the river so that is beautiful. Hotel is renovated on the inside so dont let the outside sway you. The pool area is cute but wish the hottub was a bit bigger to hold more adults.

The bed was so hard my hips were sore. There was a used fork in one of the drawers used for clothing and uneaten food parts in it. There was hair (not ours) all over the bathroom.

The only things favorable to say was affordable; front desk staff was courteous and professional, & close proximity to family event we attended in Lacrosse. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We found an apple and cheese on floor behind nightstand and candy wrappers on floor at bedside; headboards extremely dusty; heater/AC unit very noisy. Coffee for breakfast luke warm and weak, like warm dishwater, only 1 breakfast sandwich per person. No. elevator. Was not offered a credit card receipt since booked through 3rd party so I don't even know how much I was charged. I am thinking I may have been double charged-upon checking in was told "no not charged" so I gave my credit card then upon checkout was told was charged and did not owe anything. -Please clarify. we found an apple and cheese behind nihjystanf
