Centrally located to the main attractions of the island. It is a short bike ride from the ferry and to the various beaches. The breakfast was great and the hosts even prepared a breakfast for me the night before, to enjoy the next morning when I needed to check out early.

Good wifi, good shower and hot water, good refrigerator. Clean room, friendly staff. Bikes on site that you can rent. A/C helpful, but woefully undersized. Safe too small for a tablet.

Saubere Unterkunft und gutes Frühstück (kein Buffet). Haben unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt genossen und konnten uns nicht beklagen. Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und lediglich 12 Minuten zu Fuß vom "Hafen" von La Digue entfernt - auch mit Koffern ein angenehmer Weg. Fahrräder können außerdem an der Unterkunft gemietet werden (haben einen tollen Rabatt erhalten, weil wir die Räder für unseren kompletten Aufenthalt gemietet haben). Absolut empfehlenswert.

Buona struttura anche se un po' lontana dal jetty. Serve taxi o bici per arrivarci, anche se proprietario potrebbe offrire transfer in modo da arrivare in struttura e noleggiare le bici da lui. Ottimo wi-fi. Buona la pulizia.

Très bon séjour, idéalement situé sur l'ile.Charlotte et son mari sont très accueuillants et toujours près à rendre service. La formule demi pension est très intéressante et les repas à base de poisson sont excellents.Bravo au cuisinier. Les chambres et salles de bain sont propres et nettoyées tous les jours. Il faut toutefois s'attendre à devoir rejoindre à pieds avec ses valises l'embarcadère au départ comme à l'arrivée. Celui ci distant de 800 m environ.

Świetny, malutki guesthouse położony niedaleko plazy, sklepów i baru Take away. Pokoje urządzone wygodnie, choć meble są już trochę zniszczone. Miła niespodzianka jest moskitiera, czajnik do wody i od niedawna darmowe wi-fi. Każdy domek ma własny, urządzony taras, brakuje jedynie łóżek do opalania. Uwaga, w łazience nie ma szamponu do mycia włosów. Sniadanie jest serwowane: jajka, dzemik, kawa, sok, owoce. Ręczniki na plażę bezpłatne. Personel uprzejmy i pomocny. Do bazy promowej ok. 20 min.

Ok for money ,problem with payment (owner claim problem with credit card reader and send all guest to bank for cash) .Finally charge was done in other hotel (very inconvenience ),breakfast good ,dinner -fish every day ok, but you fell like this same fish just different way. No Wi-Fi and no TV .(just in restaurant- lobby and owner house) >Wi -Fi in restaurant /lobby but you need a password from owner (we find out last hour from cable guy who work on property) Owner never give anybody password to Wi-Fi and send guest to kiosk to buy voucher! don't buy dinner -lot of places for " take a way food"

Hotel bien placé, modeste , propre et acceuillant.

Séjour très satisfaisant même avec un petit budget. Il est possible de profiter du cadre paradisiaque sans trop de frais en utilisant les "Take away" autrement dit les petites boutiques proposant des plats typiques à emporter couleur locale.

Poor guesthouse and location

Disappointing guesthouse and area, very overpriced . Be aware of the following before you book, the guesthouse offers rather poor standard including weared out beds and bathroom. No fans in the sealing in the dinning area or on the private porch outside, expect no wind in the area making it very hot and sweaty. including mosquitoes. The beaches on the ferry docking side of the island are very bad with plenty of dead coral and seaweed. Nearest good beach approx. 3km away. Everything extra must be purchased, no free coffee/tee/water in the rooms, no TV, no free Wi-Fi, no free bicycles and so on, ending up with a rather expensive stay. The included breakfast is among the worst experienced, you get beverage, two toasts, two eggs some jam and fruit that's it. Furthermore problems with the tap water and shower, occasionally no water at all and do not expect to always have warm water. Conclusion the guesthouse is equivalent to a below 50 euro for two/night hotel in central Europe.

Amazing budget accomodation with food to die for

My wife and I wanted something basic but comfortable for our stay at La Digue. The ownera are friendly and go out of their way to help you. And the chef cooks up an amazing Dinner buffet in the evening. I had booked a fancy lunch for Valentine's day at La Domaine resort (which was good) but the home cooked dinner served here every night was better. Make sure you half board your stay here, you won't regret it. Later they even helped me get a good deal on a car rental in mahe. I was having trouble contacting people to rent a car and i explained the problem to the owners. Few calls later , at a notice of 4 hours, I had someone waiting for me at the Mahe Jetty :) (40 euros per day for a Suzuki Grand Vitara!!!! When the norm is a Kia for this price ).

Un hôtel très agréable

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au Rising Sun Guesthouse. Les chambres sont très agréables, la famille qui gère cet hôtel est très attachantes, ils font tout pour que votre séjour se passe le mieux possible. Les petits-déjeuners sont très bons et un conseil, choisissez la demi-pension, le chef nous a offert les meilleurs plats de notre séjour... Encore un grand merci pour votre accueil :)

bonne adresse pour les bons mangeurs

nous avons passé trois nuits à cette guest house en demi pension, les repas sont bons, variés et très copieux. Très bon accueil et chambre spacieuse correcte. Rien à redire, très bonne guest house!
