Cannot recommend and was highly disappointed.
- Had to change room after collecting keys due to smell of smoking within room
- room was very dated, showed signs of damage on all furniture and shower head didn’t hold in place until a rubber band was used to support it.
- excessive noise through walls and ceiling from other guests. This was reported to reception but didn’t solve the problem
- bin bags were carried around poolside by staff with liquids leaking out
- bins were rinsed on poolside with the shower and then emptied out over the floor
- Air conditioning within room was both ineffective despite following hotel instructions to leave doors closed etc and made loud vibrating noises that disturbed sleep. Often the noise wouldn’t stop for hours.
- Despite a 6 day stay only one housekeeping visit is included for towel/bedding change. Floors were not cleaned either during this clean.
Overall we were very disappointed with the stay, and would not return. This hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with hotel management further.
