Had a very nice stay at the hotel. The room was quiet as it was not facing the street but the location of the hotel was perfect since it was on the street with all restaurants and cafés, and just across the streets there are the ferries to the Île de Ré. The staff was superfriendly and helpful and gave me some local tourist information as well. I spent one night only, but can't be happier with the choice of this hotel.

The hotel was ideally situated and looking directly onto the harbour. The room was very clean but a bit small however for a two day stay it wasn’t much of a problem. The bed was big and very comfortable. The lady at the reception desk was very nice and helpful. A good stay.

La habitación era muy pequeña y con varias lámparas fundidas. No había mando para el aire acondicionado porque ya no era verano, pero teniendo en cuenta que había 27 grados en la calle y mucha humedad a pesar de ser octubre el aire tendría que estar operativo. No hay enchufes junto a la cama. La wifi funciona fatal y si pones los datos apenas hay cobertura ahí dentro. El secador no está disponible en la habitación. Hay que solicitarlo en recepción.

Première fois que je sejournais dans cet hôtel et franchement il est juste magnifique très bien situé personnel souriant très accueillant. Les chambres ont magnifique et la literie a vrai bonheur très confortable. Emplacement top proche de tous . Je reviendrai sans hésitation.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli:) merci beaucoup Si vous cherchez un hôtel parfait il faut passer votre chemin mais si vous cherchez un endroit authentique vous êtes i bon endroit ;) La main courante de l’escalier est un peu écaillée et il y a qqs taches sur les joints de la douche et d‘autres petits détails qui peuvent gêner les plus exigeants entre nous MAIS l’ensemble est tellement charmant que j’ai vraiment envie d’y retourner Un grand merci à la propriétaire pour son accueil si agréable

Vous vous sentirez chez vous, avec la vue en plus

Je suis venu sur un coup de tête à la Rochelle, car clairement, le mois de novembre n'est pas le meilleur pour se rendre dans ce pays venteux et à la météo changeante. Et pourtant... Pourtant j'ai pu me balader sur le bord de mer, sous les feuillages jaunes de l'automne. J'ai vu une ville magnifique, taillée dans la pierre. D'ailleurs, depuis ma chambre je pouvais admirer les tours massives illuminées la nuit dès mon arrivée. Je ne suis resté que 2 nuits, 1 jour de pluie et de grisaille et 1 jour de soleil radieux. Dans les deux cas, la ville est plaisante. Même en cette saison morte, certains restaurants sont ouverts à 2 pas de l'hôtel de l'océan. Le centre ville est accessible en 5 minutes à pieds, il y a plein de petites boutiques de prêt-à-porter féminin, et d'excellentes pâtisseries sans compter les rues pavées et les couloirs sous le arches de pierre qui nous renvoient au Moyen-Age. Et le soir vous rentrez, dans votre chambre, vous allumez les lumières murales tamisées et pouvez éventuellement admirer les tours, la mer, les haut des feuillages des arbres. C'est un endroit idéal pour retrouver votre moitié, vous vous sentez chez vous, la vue est magnifique si vous prenez la bonne chambre, et l'hôtesse est très agréable, bienveillante et discrète. Vous voulez vous sentir chez vous, vous aimez la simplicité et les ambiances cosi, réservez une chambre avec vue sur la mer, si possible dans les étages, pour prendre de la hauteur.

Au vieux port de La Rochelle

Ce petit hôtel se trouve idéalement situé sur le vieux port de La Rochelle. Parking disponible en extérieur à 5 min. à pied de l'hôtel au parking du vieux port ouest. Plage à 10 min. à pied aussi. Offre de restauration énorme dans le secteur (les bonnes adresses se trouvent plutôt rue de la Chaîne et rue Saint-Jean du Pérot). Petit-déjeuner correct vu le prix peu élevé. Personnel sympathique et prêt à vous renseigner si besoin.
