Desk staff was courteous and friendly

News of this property being “the worst” Hyatt Regency are greatly, GREATLY exaggeratedz. First off, it has one of the more impressive lobbies around and I don’t think the guest rooms are all that bad. Yes, there’s a light in our room that doesn’t work and some of the doors in the hallway are janky…but it feels clean and is presentable. The staff are nice and I was able to check in a full four hours early. The area around the place is hit or miss, I went for a few walks and there are people asking for money that stick close to the heavy traffic/touristy areas. As long as you go about your business, they won’t bother you but remember to be kind.

The place is very new and clean. The room was spacious and had all new things. The free hot breakfast was great.

The parking is a nightmare. Cramped breakfast serving space. Understand dogs allowed to be in the dining area, but also were in the serving space where the food is. Cannot be very sanitary.

Room was nicely decorated and very clean. Nice selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate to make in room. Bottles of water were an especially nice touch. Beds were very comfortable. We visit the area at least once a year and look forward to staying here again.
