“Everything's awesome. I love how the interior is so chic while it is a renovated house. It has everything we need for traveling. The common room has collections of books, kitchen utensils and comfy ambience. The staffs are very helpful and kind. Thank you!!”

“The major pros : location - steps from Allentown gay village . Free outdoor parking . Charming hotel reminds me of being in an old fashioned movie. If you want modern etc don’t book here but if you’re after charm go for it. This hotel is kind of like an old apartment building but it’s a place to sleep and recoup.”

“My wife and I were traveling to the area to see a concert at the Darien Lake Amphitheater and booked the Asa Ransom House for an overnight stay so we didn’t have to drive back so late. Unfortunately the concert was postponed, but we liked our stay so much that we reserved the same room for the rescheduled concert date. “Couldn't get the TV to work. Shower was small. Tough to shave my legs in there. Maria's Pizza right across the street was excellent tho! And not far from Tim Hortons for breakfast too! Bed was very comfortable. AC was good too. Price was right!”

“Main guest restroom in the lobby area had no paper towels, and no soap. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk, they acknowledged that they knew about it and couldn’t do anything about it because they didn’t have access to the cabinet that stores the soap and paper towels. Instead of just going out to get soap for the guest, also lends the question if the staff are washing their hands if there’s no soap for the public? “First room was shabby and the a/c was not working so they immediately changed our room and what a difference. Room was clean, curtains were hung properly on the windows, bathroom upgraded..obviously first room needs to be renovated and shouldn't be used if they want good reviews. Staff awesome here, very accommodating.”
