"This apartment is in a perfect location for enjoying all Orleans has to offer! A quick walk over the bridge brings you directly into downtown and all its restaurants, shops, galleries, and other attractions. The building is large and was well spread-out for our group of five adults and one infant, with a rooftop deck, eat-in dining room, spacious first-floor shower room with laundry, and living room with couch and floor space. "Three friends visited the Loire for six nights. This property is very charming, and well-suited for two couples or two friends, as it has two bedrooms with ensuite baths at either end of a renovated home for privacy. Do take note that the stairs are steep! ( But this IS Europe!) There are delightful touches throughout. Elisabeth is charming and very accommodating. I recommend it without hesitation."

"La maison est très bien située pour les visites de plusieurs châteaux (Chambord, Cheverny et Blois par exemple). Elle est proche de la jolie ville de Dhuizon (moins de 10mn à pied du centre ville) qui propose une super épicerie avec des produits locaux de qualité et un super restaurant pour manger "Comme à la maison". La maison est vaste et propre avec de nombreuses chambres. Les équipements intérieurs sont suffisants et adaptés. Le jardin est un poil petit et mériterait quelques équipements...

"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden. Would be useful to have an english style can opener in the kitchen as I couldn't use the European one, luckily my husband had used one before so we didn't starve :o) Note: All information in the property is in French - this wasn’t a problem for us as we were wanting to improve our language skills"

"The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."

"The village is small and the people in the local shops and restaurants are very welcoming… Apart from “hello - goodbye - please - thank you “ our French is shameful. But everyone was so friendly.. Our hosts, Anne-Sophie and Olivier were lovely. The cottage was fresh, clean, well equipped and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived.
