Lalibela Pousadas

Like the location. Nice view. I had grilled fish for dinner which was well prepared.

I have traveled around the world, and can say that the Sora Lodge is a GREAT place to stay. Staff arranged a complete sightseeing itinerary, and provided the very best in guides for us. Food was amazing in every way. Entire staff was very attentive, and really went the distance to make this a great stay. Thank for Sora Lodge!

Nice staff, room was spacious and private.

Clean and fairly modern hotel, and great staff (very helpful and nice). The restaurant serves decent food. The menu has the standard Ethiopian hotel dishes. The location is a little bit outside the center. My only complaint is that there are no mosquito nets on the windows and balcony doors. The room was full of mosquitos at night!

Top 12 was incredible! Beautiful rooms, amazing views, lovely service and very safe! They arranged a great tour guide for the Lalibela churches and the food was great. Rooms are so clean and comfortable! Owner was personally available for us anytime which was so indicative of Ethiopian hospitality. We will stay again!

Gorgeous view and location. Hot water was a little sketchy so i’d Be sure to ask next time for assistance. Staff were so thoughtful.

No frills hotel with very pleasant staff. Clean. Comfortable beds. Family rooms available. Restaurant downstairs. Airport pickup. Able to help find a guide. Highly recommend.

The hotel offers breathtaking views to the huge valley below. The rooms are spacious and spottlessly clean. Perfect location for visiting the churches. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The staff was exceptional. I was upgraded to a room with a beautiful view. The team was very attentive to my needs. The property is clean and comfortable and located in short walking distance to a great restaurant that overlooks a valley on three sides and serves great food. You cannot ask for more quality and service of a reasonably priced bed and breakfast. I'd definitely come back here to stay when visiting Lalibela.

Personally, I loved the simplicity and minimalism of the hotel. The uniqueness. The noises you can hear through the walls. (I need noise to fall asleep and I was there over Timket celebration) I call this luxury. Wifi. A bed (with shiny bedding). A shower and running water. Friendly staff. A TV that I never used. (Like who needs television when life itself is entertaining enough). Transfer currency to Birr, as that is the only currency accepted. It states Complimentary water and transportation....

The accomodations were very nice with large comfortable bed. Staff are amazing.

Of all the hotels the i have stayed at all over the world this has been my best experience. If you are planning any excursions please use the travel guide Belay. He is very knowledge about the history past and presnt of this area with reasonable rates.

Lovely room, clean with brilliant view. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive.
