Location: Just off the motorway. A short drive into Preston, and a couple of nice pubs.
Just wanted somewhere to stay overnight, to attend an event the following day. Nice , comfortable hotel close to motorway suited our purpose.

Nice but not 4 starPosted Jan 27, 2016
Nice comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff but expect at least a fridge with some drinks in a 4 star hotel. Not even a bottle of water in the room. Only options after a long journey were tap water from the bathroom sink or call room service.

An evening away with my grandchildrenPosted Jan 25, 2016
Pros: A lovely building, lovely setting with the benefit of a pool. Pool was a decent size so able to swim a few lengths. The breakfast was lovely
Cons: We ate in the bar on Saturday as there was a function on . The service was very slow with the children waiting a long time.
Location: didn't leave the hotel !

Could not fault the hotel or the service from the front of house staff to the bedroom staff. Very pleased with the standard.

Hotel living off it's name..disappointingPosted Jan 2, 2016
Pros: Nice rooms and decoration
Cons: Customer service
Booked well in advance two luxury rooms for New Years Eve2015 went to a local restaurant and booked the Preston Marriott to add to our special night with friends. As soon as week checked in there was no hot or cold water through out the evening for guest to shower or smarten up. Next morning was the same, hotel not very helpful and said we had to contact expedia, not sure what expedia could do.

An elegant hotel with fabulous facilitiesPosted Jan 1, 2016
An elegant hotel with a wonderful mix of aged refinement and modern amenities. I stayed in a family room which was well equipped, clean and spacious. The hotel staff were attentive, professional and couldn't do enough to assist with my food allergy. A lovely swimming pool and spa pool. I didn't use the spa facilities but they looked very inviting. Breakfast was plentiful and had a grand variety for all ones wishes, including catering for my young children. All in all I shall be returning in a few months and will continue to stay here as opposed to the overpriced and pot value Villa Express in Kirkham where I ordinarily stay.
