This was the first time we stayed here since the construction. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy and explore the hotel. We were exhausted and went right up to shower and bed and woke up watch some tv then we had to leave. From what we saw it was very nice and inviting. The staff is always great:-) The room was clean and very nice. We will definitely stay there again in the future and enjoy the other areas of the hotel.

The Lodge is on a lake and it is very peaceful there. I stayed there because there is a restaurant attached and it was convenient. But the restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast and the coffee bar/ alcohol bar didn’t open until 4 pm, so wasn’t useful. Also the first floor is on the second floor and no elevator so if you have any physical disability, this isn’t the place for you. But if you love to golf or use the lake, it’s great. I saw several families also staying there.

I can't say enough about this place. The staff is wonderful, the food was delicious at the restaurant, clean room, very accommodating. Their attention to the little touches that makes it feel very inviting. A wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

"This is the only hotel in State college area that does not allow an early check-in. We like to have an early check-in.... in the summer so we can enjoy the pool. It's also very musty smelling and outdated. They also shut down the workout room at 8:00. No thanks"
