"All around great experience! Lovely, well maintained historic home run by really nice people. Room and facilities were clean and bed was super comfy. Yummy country breakfast and other guests were delightful. If you book through anyone other than the Tavern, highly recommend contacting the owners first for best directions to avoid the way our GPS routed us! Otherwise, we highly recommend Buffalo Tavern!"

"We had such a lovely stay here at the cabin. The bed was comfortable, the fire place was nice, and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings-even did a little walk in the stream. We’d come back again!"

"Everything was good ! Quiet and convenient to our event and really to anything you would want to do in the wilkesboro area. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was nice as was the in room coffee. Good place to stay if in this area."

"Property was beautiful! Very peaceful and loved being on the creek. No cell reception which we honestly enjoyed. WiFi is available. Kitchen is well stocked. Communication from owner was great. Check in and check out was smooth."
