The hotel is beautiful and grand, however, severely understaffed. The check in staff at Zoe were not responsive or cordial on a few occasions. The three personnel at the desk weren’t even serving other customers at the time. They didn’t even look up to ask if they could help. I had a great server wait on us at the restaurant and a pleasant server at the bar. This hotel has many aspects that are nice but the service needs to be stepped up. I also waited an hour for the valet to deliver our car, others guests who were staying had similar complaints about the long valet waits. Given that valet is the only option and at $67.00 a night the horribly long wait is not acceptable at any price.

I've stayed here many times with my family, having a balcony in a city is amazing, as long as you don't mind walking, it's great for location, only a 10-15 minute walk to the Rideau Center & Market. The bed we had was not the most comfortable, but the pricing of the room could not be beat.

Sorry to keep saying the same thing but when you book with Expedia, they always give you the best of the worst rooms possible. After complaining and waiting in the room for over an hour, they corrected and the rest of our stay was pleasant and the staff as usual or excellent.
