Charming house with views completely refurbished, decor is neat and warm,

Our cottage is an old farmhouse completely redone in 2011, the decor is neat and warm, with lots of light, facing south, (picture windows and velux), all comfort.

Very good stereo, many cd to listen, television and English channels. Dishwasher and washing machine.

The view is clear on the Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi and the glacier Taconnaz, the cottage is facing south, and although we are not far from the white road, the environment is quiet and pleasant.

We are in village area, surrounded by 'year - round' inhabitants, charming and discreet.

Terrace equipped with large table, parasol, deck chairs, barbecue and garden. There are 3 bedrooms and sleeps 7, but there is no dining table inside so we consider it perfect and very comfortable for 5 people.
Attention there is 75 € cleaning fee in addition to pay directly to the person who takes care of it at the end of the stay.

Important note: Only one animal (well educated) per stay is allowed on the property. The prior authorization of the owner is necessary.

Ein Traum

Dieses Chalet ist einfach ein Traum!! Wir waren im Juli bei bestem Wetter dort und konnten beim Essen auf der Terrasse tĂ€glich das Mont-Blanc-Panorama genießen.Es ist alles vorhanden, von der WĂ€scheklammer bis zum Johannisbeerstrauch am Stellplatz :-)Taconnaz ist sehr gut an Bus und Bahn angeschlossen, sodass das Auto bequem stehenbleiben kann.Trotz der Lage nahe einer Landstraße war es sehr ruhig.Die Kommunikation mit ValĂ©rie war prompt und perfekt. Es hat alles prima geklappt.Fazit: Dieses Chalet ist UNBEDINGT empfehlenswert!!!

Wonderful place

We came as a group of family & friends for trail running and hiking. It’s a wonderful cozy chalet, well equipped and with a splendid view on Mont Blanc. Another bonus, especially in summer, is the garden and veranda.

Wonderful location!

We had a truly memorable week in the Alps! Taconnaz was the perfect base; there are stunning views of the Mont Blanc Massif from the property itself and it is within minutes of Chamonix and the various cable cars in the valley - we used a car mostly, but public transport connections are excellent. We were able to make forays to Lake Geneva and into Courmayeur and the beautiful Val Ferret in Italy via the MB tunnel. Communication with the host via the VRBO site was clear throughout (except for my own confusion about payment to the house keeper - sorry Valerie!!). The property was just as described, with plenty of space for my wife and I and our two teenage sons. We were there in July / August, and the upstairs room was hot, but the bedrooms, which are downstairs, remained relatively cool. The facilities were great. Many thanks, Valerie, for a fantastic week.

Semaine vacances Ă  la montagne

Acceuil simple et pratique. Le chalet est trÚs beau, la vue est extraordinaire. Les chambres situées au rez permettent de bénéficier de fraicheur pour les nuits d été de plus en plus chaudes , malgré l altitude. Bref superbe semaine de vacances.

Super sejours, chalet trĂšs bien placĂ©. Mieux qu'a chamonix car moins de monde. Le chalet et vraiment top, tres propre et convient pour une famille de 7 personnes. Rien a dire sur la vue !!!! Nous avons passĂ© une super semaine dans le chalet, Ă  4 collĂšgues. Le chalet est bien Ă©quipĂ© et trĂšs bien situĂ© : dĂ©part de randonnĂ©e possible Ă  pied depuis le chalet, ou bien l'arrĂȘt de bus trĂšs pratique Ă  4 minutes Ă  pied qui dessert la vallĂ©e. Un super sĂ©jour!!

SĂ©jour les Houches

Le chalet est exactement comme dĂ©crit sur l’annonce et les photos. La vue sur l’aiguille du midi est super sympa et la proximitĂ© de Chamonix est parfaite. Le chalet est un peu trop proche de la route mais le bruit ne nous a pas dĂ©rangĂ©. Je retire une Ă©toile car dans l’annonce il y avait une lave linge (critĂšre important pour une semaine avec des enfants ) mais en arrivant elle Ă©tait cassĂ© et malgrĂ© le signalement elle n’a pas Ă©tĂ© remplacĂ©. Sinon pour tout le reste rien a dire ! TrĂšs propre et super bien Ă©quipĂ© !

Fantastische locatie

Een heerlijke cottage van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed contact met de eigenaren, snelle reactie. Het voelt als een tweede thuis. De locatie is geweldig, aan de voet van de Mont Blanc in een heerlijk rustig dorpje. Chamonix op 5 minuten afstand. Een knus en gemoedelijk ski-oord. Kom je niet voor het skiën, dan zijn er genoeg andere activiteiten in de omgeving en Chamonix. Wij hebben genoten met 2 kinderen en een hond. Het weer is niet belangrijk, sneeuw, zon of regen, het is altijd prachtig. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Schöne Skiferien in Les Houches

Die Ferienwohnung ist gemĂŒtlich und persönlich eingerichtet und dabei geschmackvoll, es gibt viele liebevolle Details zu entdecken. Die KĂŒche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Den Garten haben wir wegen der Jahreszeit nur sehr wenig benutzt. Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr gut und schnell. Wir können die Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen!

Magnifique petit chalet prĂšs de Chamonix

Petit chalet adorable aux Houches, avec vue extraordinaire sur le Pic du Midi, confortable et propre pour 6 personnes Ă  5mn en voiture ou en bus de Chamonix. Nous avons passĂ© une super semaine en famille. Plein d’activitĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ©. Notre hĂŽte, Jean-Pierre, est plein de petites ressources (ses notes sur ses cahiers Ă  propos des restaurants ont Ă©tĂ© trĂšs prĂ©cieuses.) TrĂšs serviable, il nous accueillis avec une bouteille de rosĂ© et nous a aidĂ©s avec pleins d’infos. Point fort de cette location outre la maison: tous les petits produits nĂ©cessaires (sel, huile, café et plus) sont prĂ©sents dĂšs votre arrivĂ©e, ce qui permet de s’installer et de profiter tout de suite de la maison. Il suffit juste de les remplacer lors de votre dĂ©part. Seul bĂ©mol, le chalet est situĂ© prĂšs de la route principale qui mĂšne Ă  Chamonix et peut ĂȘtre parfois bruyant le soir avec les voitures qui passent (nullement dangereux) mais ce n’est pas l’aĂ©roport non plus. Points forts: sa vue, sa location Ă  proximitĂ© de Chamonix, sa connection wifi, sa beautĂ© et son confort. Nous y reviendrons quand nous sĂ©journerons une nouvelle fois sur les Houches.

Tout est ! Rien Ă  redire, voisinage sympathique, petit bĂ©mol avec la route un peu trop proche Ă  notre goĂ»t...Proche de Chamonix Ă  5 min. Belle dĂ©co intĂ©rieure et Ă©tant moi-mĂȘme musicienne, j'ai apprĂ©ciĂ© la hi-fi. La tonte de l'herbe aurait Ă©tĂ© un + mais nous avons profiter de la fraĂźcheur Ă  l'ombre de l'arbre.. un bon coin pour la lecture.. Merci pour cette location ! Je la recommande..

Chalet confort & panorama exceptionnel

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis chaleureusement par les propriĂ©taires en personne. Toutes les infos utiles pour rĂ©ussir son sĂ©jour ont Ă©tĂ© rapidement partagĂ©es (restos, domaines skiables selon diffĂ©rents critĂšres, alentours, courses, modalitĂ©s quotidiennes). Nous garderons et recommanderons ce chalet spacieux magnifiquement restaurĂ© Ă  nos amis, c'est sĂ»r ! Et quelle vue sur le Mont-Blanc!!!
