Cozy Cottage in Historic Lewes Delaware

This small cottage is perfect for two adults, a great romantic getaway. The Cottage is not good for tall people - you need to watch your head on the stairs and on the top of the door between the kitchen and the main room. Upstairs is one queen bed, downstairs is the main room, small kitchen, and bathroom. The Cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is very charming with its own outdoor eating terrace. The owner's house is also on the property. The cottage is not suitable for children or animals, it is compact and has a small refrigerator. It is an easy walk, 6 blocks, into the historic town of Lewes, and there are plenty of great and varied restaurants nearby. The beach is a five minute car ride or an 18 minute walk. TV and Wi-Fi are provided.
The Cottage is on King's Highway so there is some noise from the road - a white noise sleep machine is provided.

Peaceful Weekend Getaway

Had an amazing and relaxing weekend in Lewes! House was perfect, clean, and in the best location. We were close to local restaurants , shops, and beaches and went everywhere by foot! Cottage was exactly as expected and we hope to visit again soon!

Lewes is magical in December

This charming cottage is welcoming, cozy and comfortable,even during cold December weather. It was wonderful to be able to walk through Lewes' downtown area and residential streets and see the beautiful holiday lights and decorations. Loved my visit!

Sweet, comfortable cottage in a lovely garden setting, a short walk from downtown Lewes. I really enjoyed having my morning coffee on the patio amidst the wonderful flowers, plants and trees. Lovely early summer stay!

Delightful spring escape

I had a lovely stay in this charming, comfortable historic cottage set amidst a stunning garden with fountains. I had everything I needed and felt so welcomed and at home. Seeing Lewes in spring time is a special treat -- cool nights and mornings, and bright sunny days.

Everything about this little gem is done well. The house is impeccably kept and welcoming. The host thought of everything one might need from tissues to coffee to scissors to guide books to make this a home away from home on a vacation stay. Perfect for two- comfortable in winter and well located for a walk into town for excellent breakfasts and a walk along the shore.

Many fountains, flowers and birds. The cabin was spotlessly clean, deliciously comfortable, and well-equipped. The best of Lewes is in walking distance. The host answers any questions you may have within 15-20 minutes or so. A lovely and convenient vacation spot.

Amazing Little Cottage

This was such a great find, my husband and felt like we had everything we needed. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable, the host thought of every detail. The patio is beautiful and the location is close to everything. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Charming cottage in a lovely garden

The cottage is charming and full of light, and is outfitted with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The garden with its patio and fountains is a special treat. It is wonderful to be within a short walk of downtown Lewes and yet still be in a quiet location, and just off the fantastic bike/walking paths. I have stayed in this cottage a few times and am already looking forward to my next opportunity!

The cottage is adorable, charming, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a truly enjoyable stay. The owners’ garden is paradise! Cute cottage in a great location

This property is in the historic district and close to restaurants and the parks. Well maintained property with a nice patio in the back. Hosts were very attentive. Lots of local information was in a notebook. It was a great help. This house could be a challenge for some older couple particularly if they are tall. The stairwell to the bedroom has a sloped ceiling. Unless you are short you will have to duck your head. Overall it is a nice little cottage. Our hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.

This was our second visit to this cottage, and we were happy to return. The cottage is clean, attractively decorated, and great for walking into town. We appreciate that it is reasonably priced. We had a wonderful time visiting the beach, shopping, eating out, visiting historic sites, and getting lots of exercise.
